(long story blah blah blah..) i ended up with a dogfish head world wide stout checking in at a solid 18%. too boozy for me but this was addiction talking.

after that i had a new to me beer called copper hat by ludlam island brewing. it was okay. pretty good but it was an ipa and while i'm totally getting that i was getting a little bit of a lager taste here too and i didn't want a lager.

the world wide stout is a great beer if you are into that kind of abv.

the copper hat loses some points with me because it wasn't crisp and snappy enough for my taste. still good and all but it just didn't satisfy my hop craving.
