Two (2) Aventinus Eisbock, followed by two (2) Ayinger Oktober Fest. I think this is the first time I've been drunk after Four (4) beers.

I'm an gamer, but these beers have me second guessing myself. I have another Ayinger. Plus one Schneider Weisse mixed with Eisbock. They call it Cuvee Barrique.

The Cuvee Barrique is a sour ale. Really damn good. If you drink 2 eisbocks, 2 ayingers, and a cuvee barrique and don't live to regret it tomorrow I'd be surprised. That's a lot.

The problem with the Eisbock is you can have two in an hour easily. That's the same as drinking a 6 pack of 5% beer. I don't drink enough to build up a tolerance so that gets me drunk.

They all taste so good, I can't help myself. I'll probably be dead tomorrow, I've actually mixed in some Balvenie scotch. My wife is away for the weekend for work.

When Anheuser-Busch InBev NV solidified its US$105-billion tie-up with SABMiller plc in November, the deal was pitched as the creation of a “truly global brewer.” AB InBev chief executive Carlos Brito said the combination would produce “significant growth opportunities” and generate “enhanced value” for all stakeholders.

We’ve heard that one before, and it doesn’t always end as nicely as promised.

Ontarioians can now buy (6 packs only) beer in some grocery stores, but have to sell at the exact same inflated prices in the government run "Beer Store".
Example Budweiser @ $2.29 per can.

In Quebec, where there is no government control of the prices retailers can charge, you can buy a 60 pack of Budweiser @ $1.11 per can.

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) is a non-share capital provincial Crown corporation in Ontario, Canada. It is accountable to the Ministry of Finance (Ontario). It was established in 1927 by Lieutenant Governor William Donald Ross, on the advice of his Premier, Howard Ferguson, to sell liquor, wine, and beer through a chain of retail stores. Such sales had been banned outright in 1916; thus, the creation of the LCBO marked an easing of the province's temperance regime (see Prohibition in Canada).

You can thank the Ontario conservatives for that.

Good thing it seems to be bigger than the Dieu du Ciel pub in Montreal. They probably make the best goddamn beer in the province, but it's by far the worst beer bar in the city.

If it's the spot I'm thinking of it's not particularly wide but it goes back a decent amount. Hopefully it does well and revives that area because it's pretty run down.

There's nothing in that area worth going to at all right now.
