I wish I knew about this. Great Lakes tap take over at Bar Volo. I've more or less had all the beers listed on there except the collabs. Those sound interesting.

i'd drink it again, but i wouldn't buy it again.

the best part about the beer was the colorful label.

A Woodstock man is looking for answers after he found a mouse in his can of Bud Light.

Ian Pickard sat down to enjoy a beer last Friday, but after he popped the tab, he could not believe the horrible smell. His discovery shocked Pickard and his wife.

“I took my flashlight, looked inside and said, ‘It's a mouse and she nearly hit the ceiling,’” he says.

some of the new (well, new to me) australian hop varieties are incredible. how was that ipa up top?

I had it on tap along with a few other brews. It was good ,but the one glass was not enough for me to accurately critigue it. The Coronado 19th Anniversary ale on the other hand i had a case of. That was fantastic. An excellent Imperial. Way better then their Islander and Idiot IPA. They use a few newer hop strains in that one.....Green Bullet, Citra, Galaxy.

The Easy Jack is pretty much a Union Jack light. I drank many of those on the beach last week during my vacation.

yeah i know what you mean, one beer isn't really enough to tell at all.

i haven't had anything that uses green bullet that i'm aware of. i think i'm starting to prefer regular ipas (the drier the better too) over doubles of late but it does sound good in the reviews.

If anyone can get their hands on it, I recommend this:

Something different with all the pumpkin flavors out there during the Fall.

With Pumpkin Ales the 'thing' is I believe the Pumpkin Spices... Often Sweet Potatoes are done up with similar spices, especially with Pies.

That said, one would think that it is only natural that Sweet Potato would be in the mix on this... This is interesting and I would give it a whirl without hesitation... Thanks for the heads up.

For many years I've been a huge fan of Sierra Nevada Draught IPA in Bottle as well as on Tap -- for some technical reason that I'm not knowledgeable enough to explain, the bottle Ale is officially considered a Draught -- well before the popularity of Hoppy IPAs with the Craft Beer aficionados... And when not available I've had no problem having a Victory Hop Devil instead... I love Hoppy Ales, but like posted, I'm not really a fan of the Double/Triple ones either.

Any thoughts on Sierra Nevada/Victory Hop Devil IPAs in here?

Just had some delicious Randy Johnson Butternut Squash Beer

Had a strong butternut squashy taste. Quite delicious. The colour was quite butternut squashy for sure.

2151 twiztedmikes out of 2716 twiztedmikes on the twiztedmike scale.

Keep in mind its Butternut Squash season so make sure you grab the good Butternut Squash Beers like Randy Johnson because by the Fall the better ones will be nowhere to be found in the popular beer consumption areas.

If you are referring to IPAs, they are an acquired taste. Keep trying different ones until you find one you like.
