A real English ipa, malty and bitter but not sweet or a hop bomb. Very nice, actually.

I've yet to have a proper British IPA. I've had plenty of British IPAs using American hops but nothing using Kent Goldings or similar. It'd be interesting to see what 60+ IBUs of proper British hops would taste/smell like.

It was at a birthday party for a friend's kid. He had me excited when he said there's a variety of beer in that cooler. I opened it up only to find that variety included Coors Light, Bud Light, and Miller Lite.

a lot of the time when i age unfiltered bottle conditioned beers like that they get yeast chunks like that. it's not a negative.
