It really isn't a bad deal. I mean if I go I'm more than likely going with 3 of my buddies. So from that we split the $300 for the room and it adds up to only $75 a person for a week in a 5 star resort thing. Then spending money it ends up being really cheap. I'm hyped now and can't wait to go.

we'll expect a full report on your visit. I won't be "pushy" and suggest a day trip to either Quebec City (230kms) or Ottawa (170kms).

For those of you from Ottawa:

I just made a trip to Aylmer for some beverages. I purchased 4 12's of Grolsch, 4 12's of Heineken, 1 24 of Coors Light, 1 24 of Corona, 1 24 of Budweiser for a whopping $224.

For one 12 pack of Heineken in Ontario I would pay $24. For 2 12's I paid $22.70 in Aylmer.

I saved a lot of money. I am happy.

Today is a memorial service for my Grandfather who died 2 weeks ago. The memorial is from 4-7pm, so my family and I decided to bring the guests back to our house and celebrate the right way.

Cheers Grandpa.

Won't be for a while guys. As of right now I don't have any vacation days until October so I'm guessing my trip will have to be for next summer. All I have right now are 3 sick days and 3 personal days.

He touched my life, and many others in the city of Ottawa. His name, Robert "Bob" Mitchell, has been littered all over the newspapers recently. If you have lived in Ottawa for a while, you may recognize his name from Municipal and Provincial politics.

Thanks for the kind words!

For you buddy sure thing.

Funny story. About 2-3 months ago I quit a job because I had an offer to come on and worked under a very knowledgeable guy as a network technician. Of course it was also for more money. Before that I had worked a couple of crapshoot jobs (including EB Games for $7.50 an hour and only about 20-25 hours a week) and was always the one in the group that highly worried about spending money because I had to pay my bills and it never seemed like enough (I'm sure many can relate)

Well comes down to it I got a couple of hours overtime and was really starting to have some extra money. My g/f's cousin owns a club in Newark and it's pretty popular. We ended up going out there but inorder to have VIP you need to buy atleast 1 bottle (ie A bottle of Absolute that you can get at a liqour store for $30 costs $175 for VIP at a bar). Well since most of the people there were close friends who when I was low on cash spotted me lunch and let me get back to them after my next pay check I told everyone we were going to split costs on the bottle.

I ended up fronting the money for the bottle and buying everyone there (10 total people) a round and then later in the night did the samething again. I felt like a big shot. LoL. But really I just wanted to once be the guy that can say don't worry it's on me when so many of them have done the same for me when I was low stacked.

LoL. No it was for my girlfriends b-day party. Like I said. People there always helped me when I was on the robes. It felt nice to pay them back atleast with a fun night. Don't get me wrong they bought me more than a few rounds. Plus I didn't pay for the Absolute in cash (used my credit card for that one) I took $250 with me and spent roughly $180 that night. Then we went to one of NJ's famous all night diners LoL and they bought me dinner. So it turned out pretty good.

Interchangable players between the Bills and Sabres???? That's a good plan.
