God is like a good gluten free beer. Does he exist? I haven't seen proof that he does but who (frank)ing cares.

Well, if you think he's real and believe in heaven or hell, it's worth caring.

Me, I don't care.

Went into the LCBO today and they had a beer tasting booth. I didn't notice it and while browsing for beer the guy asked me if I wanted to taste a couple beers. Without thinking I said "sure" and walked over figuring it'd be some nice local microbrew.

They had Rolling Rock Extra Pale & Shock Top Lemon Shandy. I think my eyes bulged a little and I said "oh, no thanks actually" and walked away.

I think they're doing it wrong. You have to create completely irrelevant commercials that make it look interesting without ever mentioning the taste in order to get people to buy that crap. Actually letting people taste it before they buy it though? Craziness!

I legitimately would've made an odd face had I taken a sip of each lol. It's bad stuff.

For anyone in Ontario the LCBO has Weihenstephaner gift packs right now. Not many stores have it so check online to see if it's near you.

http://lcbo.ca/lcbo-ear/l...&ITEM_NUMBER=&language=EN

Comes with their standard hefeweizen, their dunkel, and their kristallweizen and this awesome weizen glass:

i had Rolling Rock a long time ago, was pretty sh!tty.

never had Shock Top...only going to presume it's a terrible attempt at making a traditional wheat beer.

your presumption is spot on

i drank it a crappy bar a couple of times that had limited options... i had an allergic reaction to it and my chest and neck turned bright red for 24 hours.

awesome.

I don't know what that is, but it can't be substantially worse than Rolling Rock.

You need to try Shock Top then. It's equally as horrific. This Lemon Shandy one.. I can't even imagine. It's probably their regular beer but with lemon syrup added and extra carbonation.

if i'm going to an outdoor party in the middle of summer - if i'll be drinking for a while - coors light, miller lite or even molson canadian light is what i go with.

if i'm not going to drink alot, i'll bring a 6er of a really good beer. i have a friend that will buy a victory/southern tier/magic hat variety pack for summer parties and destroy most of it himself.

ya coors light was made for cheap, all day drinking. pretty much gets you drunk and hydrates you simultaneously.

if i'm not in the mood for piss, i'd probably go with someone's kolsch (stoudt's perhaps).

i've never had a kolsch. i know it's a traditional German beer, but just never actually thought to try one.

gaffel is reasonably available in the US, it's my summer go-to. only 4.5 % or so

it's good, and it tastes even better out of the smaller euro style glassware. drink it out of the narrowest vessel you have, it's really good
