Shouldn't we be fine with that? The kid has shown flashes of being good and being a bust. He's got the skating and work ethic to become a good player, "why not?" would be my question.

Thinking is tough when you're having zoomies. Ask Jarret Stoll.

Even Eichel thought this was a bad look.

Ok, that's all I got. Hope the kid gets help. That stuff will ruin you.

Well you have the rest of this year to figure that out, if he can't then you have the offseason to make adjustments.

Both fair answers from yourself and Quinner.

Im in the same pall park. Hope they keep him with offensively talented guys to see what he has from now till April.

I don't have much faith in the guy tho as hes shown very little to be excited over.

Im also very on the fence over trading Mitts. It best be a haul.

Reinhart showed flashes of being a bust too...

You keep guys around if they're just inconsistent IMO.

As long as the return is good, do it. The talking heads are all saying the obvious on the Twatter today...they can simply go to arb and kick the can down the road if the package doesn't work.

Would you be fine with Krebs at 3C until he either proves himself or someone forces themselves into that spot?
- DirtyDan

savoie, kulich, quinn

lots of options for 3rd line center in the fall

That first year was pretty rough and his powder puff shot was hard to watch. He developed pretty nicely I'd say. Not trying to compare them talent wise, but I think you need to take your time with kids that got rushed to the pros.

Krebs hasnt touched 10 goals or even 20 apples for a frankin "playmaker" thats terrible.

Reinhart was 20-20 guy as soon as he walked in the door.

That first year he had 42 pts as a 20 year old?

I wish Krebs could put up 30.
He put up a .46ppg in a covid season which wouldn't even match him with Zemgus' highest ppg season. Not to mention Krebs shot might be the softest I have ever seen. And in year 3 has not improved the slightest.

They both sucked their first season on the 9 game tryouts. Sammy got 1 point, Krebs got 0. That's a bust flash.

But Krebs had 22pts in 48 games. He basically matched Sammy's production.

Krebs then got relegated to the LOG Line while Sammy got to play with Eichel. Until he gets extended time with actual NHL players, we will have no idea what he can actually do.

He got himself relegated. Should of been better. Effort wasn't enough.

Maybe Vegas would take him back. Given Stone thinks hes the smartest player hes played with... For all of 13 games.

Krebs for Korczak?

any playoff team would like a johnson as the 8th d man in case a staff infection spreads in the locker room come playoff time instead of a jillson or janik

I have no faith that Adams will pull the trigger on any of our useless UFA's. I can already see him at his post TDL press conference where he says "guys like Johnson, Okposo and Girgensons provide veteran leadership both on and off the ice. There was tons of interest in all of them but we wanted to keep them to help guide the youngest team in the NHL". Something like that.

This press conference will be followed up with another press conference in early July when he says he re-signed Okposo ($1.75 million), Girgensons ($1.5 million) and Johnson ($1.5 million) to 1 year contracts so that they could provide "veteran leadership" to the still youngest team in the NHL.
