Ironic. Bruins are the real deal. Two out of 3 since the break are stinkers. Canucks do that and they are paper tigers.

Two losses in a row and it's the most you've posted all season. The waiting must have been terrible.
- boonerbuck

lol! the club was going to face adversity sooner or later. Best to get it all out of the way now.

As is your right as a fan. You can cheer or boo as you see fit. I don't see any cause for panic yet. For the first time in years we have the manpower and structure in place that will prevent this from snowballing. I think a bit of practice time will work wonders.

2-0 Caps. You'd think the Bruins would have shown more pride after getting booed off the ice.

It's the internet. You can be whatever you want. Just be prepared to be judged by a group of complete strangers and have the occasional 10 page argument with Booner. It is your turn after all.

The concerns are legitimate.
Some soft, Tesla driving fanboys(probably listening to the Dave Matthews Band) can't handle the slightest negative slant. Including the Clit Whisperer.

All season I've discussed the ups and downs of this team or players struggles. I'm not at issue with discussion at all. On the other hand, waiting weeks if not months to define this team by a rare poop game is what I take exception with. I'm not going after simple criticisms. Everyone else is being realistic about the last couple of games. Am I going after them? No.

Boston shut out. Lost 2 of 3 since the break. 2 terrible outings... worse than the Canucks last 3 games even... Canucks have taken 3 of 6 points compared to their 2 of 6... How could this be? They are the measuring stick of contenders.

Canucks hold onto 1st oa. Slight gain in points over the Bruins.

How about the other teams that were marked as a tier above the Canucks in recent months...

Vegas... LA... Avs... Jets... Rangers... all in the review mirror and falling back.

Bruins lose 3-0. So we've gained a point on them since the break.

Even when we lose we push ahead. I don't care if some games are frustrating. I never forgot what a winning season looks like. Take the good with the bad and keep moving forward.

Mocking fans who cheer for or defend this team may have been acceptable back when it was suffering. Now it just makes you look like a b!tch.

Just saying, but the Bruins have been a top team for many years, the Canucks on the other hand have been a bottom feeder for many years. Sure they might be the 2 best teams, points wise, right now, but I am sure Boston places very little on another Presidents Trophy, Boston has also proven to be able to stop slumps over the years, not sure how Canucks will handle a 4 or 5 game losing streak, as this edition of the Canucks has never been in that boat.
Basically, all I am saying is, comparing arguably the best organization in the league, to one of the crappiest organizations in the league, isn't really going to win you many discussions

Luckily all I care about is this season and not seasons past... like the one that Boston had last year breaking NHL win records just to get eliminated in the 1st round. I hope we are not like Boston.

I am just going for the ride this year, they have been playing a better brand of hockey, although I believe they have been extremely lucky as well. When you have a very high PDO, like the Canucks have had, the eye-test and that particular stat(PDO=luck)line up. I hate throwing in analytics, especially one as flaky as PDO.
Only time will tell, is this a view of consistent play from year to year or is this a one and done scenario?

Comparing the Bruins franchise to the Canucks is laughable, please don’t, they’re not even in the same solar system. I hate the Bruins, but that’s not a fair comparison.

Only 7 pages to go.

Seriously though, even if it's bust you still have to like what they're building towards here. 52 games in and we're chasing nobody. Most games are entertaining Hockey.

This club is nowhere near the fodder of the last decade. To me, Cup or bust time happens when the post season starts. There's still plenty of meaningful Hockey until then. But for once they're loaded up nicely for the stretch run.

I agree. I just like getting Booner all worked up. He takes this all very seriously.

What I want is for the Canucks to clean up the slop before playoffs start. They don't have a lot of experience so they got to play their very best. Get rid of those bad habits now. Battle every game win or lose.

Your expectations are somewhat unrealistic, you’re striving for perfection, so it seems. They’ve been one of the most consistent teams this year, which is why they’re at the top of the league standings.

It doesn’t matter what sport you’re talking about, humans cannot be 100% consistent, human error always enters the equation. Even the best teams, players, whatever, have inconsistent shifts, inconsistent periods and inconsistent games. Look at golf, the best players in the world can shoot a 60 one day and then the next day shoot a 77, professional sports is just really hard.
