Now I have to be careful because if I criticize this team the fanboys go bananas. But I don't like the fact they blew a two goal lead, allowed two goes against in the third, and they took some undisciplined penalties.

As Tocchet stated post game yesterday, let's see how this team responds after laying an egg. Well, we saw and it wasn't great. But another chance tomorrow to clean up some of the slop.

Am I being too dramatic?

I find it funny, a commenter complains about how Tocchet structured the lines for the game today, same guy complains about another commenter expressing concern about how the team lost the game.
You can't make this shit up flows.

You must like everything Canuck, all the time, yet if you tell people you don't like Pouty and/or Hughes, or you aren't optimistic this team has what it takes, then you aren't a real fan, but yet those same folks criticize the crap out of other players on the roster

Well, hopefully the Canucks can rebound against the Caps tomorrow. Caps are playing right now, against the Bruins, so they should be softened up a bit for tomorrow's game.

You are a steady poster in here win or lose. I really wouldnt compare your contribution here to what Bloated is doing or what the toxic trio does. Notice Petey had a good game and not a single post about anything at all out of those guys. They will wait until they have ammo and start firing away.

I thought Hughes and Pettersson didn't play well on the defensive side of the puck today. Pettersson had a few blown coverages but he had three points so he must have played great.

Meh, they weren't awful and the Wings caught some breaks. The Eastern matinee games have never been kind to the Canucks. Still leaves us in first overall.

So yeah, I think you are. Maybe all of this winning has spoiled some of us. A couple of flat games coming out of the Allstar break isn't uncommon in the league.

The past two games they’ve been sloppy, Miller was a no-show again today. I don’t think you panic after the all-star break, played a great team in the Bruins and then a morning game against Detroit. They’ll work thru it and be fine. They’re having a great year.

How does one point out some concerns (as minor as they may be) without being considered a whiner?

My whole point is that "flat" games was a chronic issue for this team last season and for nine seasons before that. It was systemic. From the get go of this season, it looked like those dark times were over. I see some of those past tendencies creeping back in. Hope I'm wrong.

Miller at least tightened up a bit defensively this game. Only saw one of his gift back passes and it amounted to nothing thankfully.

Myers had a terrible 1st period. I thought Hronek and Cole were excellent on the other hand.

Hopefully they can get a extended spark out of pairing Hogz with Petey.

Lindholm looking like mostly a defensive player off the PP. Not seeing much O chemistry 5v5 with him so far. None actually.

The concerns are legitimate.
Some soft, Tesla driving fanboys(probably listening to the Dave Matthews Band) can't handle the slightest negative slant. Including the Clit Whisperer.

Out of all the teams in the league, the Canucks suffer this the least with only a couple of teams being near par.

How realistic is it that you expect them to not have a few flat games in a 82 game schedule? Even when they are the most consistent team in the league... you still won't let go of the past. RT points this out when ever it happens... which is rare. Good grief... and you are butthurt that people are dismissing your "paper tiger" label you've given the Canucks over so few road bumps along the way....

I'm watching the Bruins Caps game. The shots are 24-8 after 2 and the Bruins just got booed off the ice. That's just the nature of a long season. The difference for me this year is that I have every faith in the Coaching staff and players, and this isn't going to turn into a long term funk.

Oh boy. I'm not going to even bother as you are obviously just looking to argue. I pointed out a few issues that I think they are displaying. I could be completely wrong. You obviously think I am. Cool. Let's leaving it at that.

Wait for Nighthawk to log in. You can get your argument fix then.

Exactly. You play poorly, you get booed. Those Bruin fans are not sitting in a big circle jerk telling each other "it doesn't matter, we are having a wonderful season." They expect more from their team and so should we.

All I'm doing is booing for poor play. I'm not booing the team.

As is your right as a fan. You can cheer or boo as you see fit. I don't see any cause for panic yet. For the first time in years we have the manpower and structure in place that will prevent this from snowballing. I think a bit of practice time will work wonders.

2-0 Caps. You'd think the Bruins would have shown more pride after getting booed off the ice.

Well you comparing this to last season's team because of 1 "flat game" deserves to be laughed at. This game wasnt flat... far from it. The last game fits the bill but it was an outlier. 1 regulation loss in the last what... 15 games? Yet you are calling this team a paper tiger in the middle of an epic run... you are trying way too hard.

I pointed this out a while ago. As fans, some of us forgot how to win. It's not legit unless it's perfect.

Ironic. Bruins are the real deal. Two out of 3 since the break are stinkers. Canucks do that and they are paper tigers.
