Well the lesser talented Flames won their 4th in a row. Weegar with the hat trick.

Don't know why he's being so dramatic. The Canucks are having an amazing season. They had a bad game. All teams have a few during an 82 game season. They have already shown that they can rebound from games like this.

They called one for a slash, earlier this season, even though the player bot a shot off. Apparently the rule ook states something like, if a player has a scoring chance taken away from them, as a result of an infraction, that player will be awarded a penalty shot, regardless of whether a shot was taken or not.

I believe that rule hange happened about 5 years ago.

I know most in here don't like the Flames, but I don't mind the Flames, thanks to Joel Otto, Theo, Nieuwendyk and Big AL on defense. I would cheer for them over Oilers or Leafs, all day everyday.

I like some of the young talent the Flames are starting to incorporate into the lineup.

As Tocchet stated post game yesterday, let's see how this team responds after laying an egg. Well, we saw and it wasn't great. But another chance tomorrow to clean up some of the slop.

This was a frustrating game. As the Canucks provided a little bit of everything. The drama was on the ice for multiple reasons.

Just to compare this one as a bad game to the last one is not fair. Things just don’t always go your way in a game. Calls. Shots and breaks.
