I am wondering if Conroy is not trying to trade Marky and Tanev together. They came to Calgary together and Marky had a picture of Tanevs remaining teeth on his mask. I would say they are pretty tight.

Would prefer we keep Hanifin & I could even live with that 8 years by 7.5 mill per. But if he doesnt want to be here after this season, so be it. Hanifin needs to come clean & lets move on & get him traded. Another Lindholm type of package suits me fine.

I agree with this. Apparently Conroy is meeting with his representatives this weekend. A top 4 of Andersson, Weegar, Hanifin and Kylington is a good start to a solid D.

Suniev is looking good too. I was disappointed at the time we didnt get at least a 2nd but Sharky & Suniev have alleviated that. Love the Lindholm return & you have to wonder that they have bumped Hanifin to the top of the TDL board that something is leaking out he wont resign what has been tabled to him. Oh well. Would have been nice to keep him, wonder if he will do a sign & trade for us to get a better return. Wonder if hes open to resigning for more than just Boston as well. Jersey seems close to where he wants to be & maybe even the Rangers or Islanders may want him too.
With Sergachev going down, Tampa may be in on this too & get the cap space from the LTIR with Sergachev. Interesting times.

It was a good night of Hockey. The Flames played their most inspiring game all year, Lindholm, with a couple for the Nucks and the Golden Knights doing God's work, so we will not have to hear about this Oil team for the rest of time.
