What’s shakin? No snow in Ohio, not a great place for hockey.

Luke Schenn was plus 9 last year and plus 15 the year before as a Canuck playing mostly with Hughes. When he left QH he was -1 with the Leafs after 15 games and only plus one this year.

Numbers +/- don't always give the full story.

We’ll see if he can adjust to this impediment. RT doesn’t have time for stragglers in the high octane gunning for excellence 1st place team.

A year after his ACL surgery, Mikheyev conceded Monday that he continues daily exercises to strengthen his knee and is still working his way back towards peak speed. He is one of the Canucks’ fastest skaters, but hasn’t displayed the world-class explosiveness he possessed with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

“I still do extra work every day, do some training every day,” Mikheyev said. “Because, like, I need it. I think I have some extra space to get better.”

Well yeah he’s giving him the chance like he gave Kuz. Just you see the expectations there. So if he can’t produce now he’ll lose the top 6 spot to someone else like Hogs perhaps. At least until he’s ready is all. I suppose he’s got a bit of a leash though to try now.
