Isn’t this kinda what we’ve all been asking for? I think he could fill a 3C role, and shouldn’t cost more than a 3rd/4th round pick and maybe a low level prospect. It’s not sexy but do think it makes us better.

If he wasn’t 2.5 I’d be ok with it. But they need to dream bigger than him. Granted, we would cost next to nothing to get so that is true. I kind of like Blackwell from Chicago. I keep reading how wonderful he is, in the room and on the ice. 1.2 for him. He checks a lot of boxes were missing in the bottom 6

I’d go as far to say that it would the best deal he ever makes. So many people rave about Kaliyevs shot. He is the polar opposite of Kakko as far as style of game/skill set

I dont mind it for a one stop shop, I just dont like using half of what we have available on Johnson. I want us to lock down the Tarasenko thing first.

Unless they get a 3rd party with him too. They do have three 4th rders to utilize that way (I think that’s the cost for 3rd party involvement)

I just worry that if we trade Kakko, someone is gonna figure out how to use him.

I think by next season tho he’d get every opportunity to play 1RW or 2RW. The kid is Vatrano if you want to compare. As far as shot goes. It’s lethal

I think if we get Tarasenko, theres a very high probability we resign him for 2 years.
