Kreider Zib Tarasenko

Panarin Trocheck Laf

Cuylle ROR Essyimont

Trenin Goodrow Vesey

Wheeler

Miller Fox

Jones Trouba

Lindgren Carrier

Gilbert (Aecs guy- LHD)
————
(So traded Kakko, Schneider, Pitlick, Gus..Edstrom, Robertson, Trivigno…and picks).

My apologies lol

It has some flexibility, Trocheck and ROR could easily switch and Essyimont / Trenin could also. I’m not sure Trenin plays RW tho. Essyimont would be a nice pick up, he’s got some bite/edge, 800k for next year. He chips in offensively

Hopefully you make the mistake with us…

Rico 50% retained - Frankie V - 30% retained -

KK - & 5th

However no way Drury trades KK … I just don’t see it …
I think he’d trade Laf before KK -

Drury botched this rebuild. He gave away picks and prospects before we were ready that could possibly be helping us now or pieces we could be trading now. Our system is pretty depleted. I’m not sure this is the year to deplete it further.

Were we technically in a rebuild when Drury took over? I think the mistake came during COVID when we were unnecessarily playing the kids when they should have been in Hartford working on their game.

Our system isnt depleted by choice, we had a failed 7 and 9, recovered a 1st for Nils, Kakko hasnt developed, LAF has only started to but we have no idea if he can do it away from Panarin and Trocheck, Miller has his ups and downs, as does Schneider.

Furthermore we continue to draft positions we already are stacked at.

There is a question as to whether the Rangers are prohibited from re-acquiring Tarasenko again and having Ottawa retain part of the cap hit.

Sounds like there’s a definite possibility they wouldn’t be able to do it.

Bunch of people discussing this problem on twitter….

Edit: But after looking at it I think they just have to wait until 12 months after the trade date last year which was like Feb 9th.

So ultimately. Never mind. lol

Maybe that was the plan all along which is why they traded for him early last year.

Rangers had two scouts at Detroit-Ottawa last night.

And they don’t play either one any time soon.

Who’ve they traded? Hunter Skinner? Oh no how could they. Morgan Barron? Brett Howden? Kravtsov? Like it wasn’t his own fault.

It’s a myth you’re creating. We currently have our next million 1st rd picks. We still have every prospect we want to keep

Define depleted

So to compare the Lindholm haul with what it would have taken for us to get him:

Kuzmenko=Kakko
Brzustewicz=Schneider(..? No real good comparison)
Jurmo=some late rd D prospect
1st and 3rd/4th the same.

Would you do it? I would not have. Good boy, Chris.

Not for rental should they trade that. Trading them in general should be on the table and I bet it is

I dont think he would have been a rental, however, if we want him, we can have him in the offseason for free cause theres no way Nucks can fit another 7m contract in. Maybe we trade for his negotiating rights to get ahead which would be infinitely cheaper.

ROR is the perfect example of what they should do. Whether its an upper level guy like him, or lower level guy like Sissons. A center they can use for a few years, cost controlled-non rental, that if/when Chytil comes back he moves seamlessly into the lineup on RW, (or Trocheck does that). If he doesn’t we have 3 centers. We may lose some years with age but quite honestly I’m not sure that’s the worst thing in the world to happen anyway

Breadman is their star. He’s paid a lot of money and still for a couple more years. They need to put the best team around him before he’s not good enough anymore. Because that is when we’ll really start to suck

Agreed. But Drury getting beat to a deal by a person born in the 1940s is still a tough scene.
- blacksheep1

WTF are you talking about! Just because drury decided the price was too high he was outsmarted by 80 year old Jim Rutherford ! You might need to see a therapist!

1994 Rangers

In- Matteau, Noonan, McTavish, Anderson.

Out- Amonte, Marchand, Gartner

Grow a pair Brukie, grow a pair. And it’s not like we don’t need it, as we’ve seen how pathetic our depth is
