Just speculation, but the more I think of it, that could have been the cancer in the Flames room causing everyone to want to bolt.

I hope there's closure soon and names are named. Not only for the victim, but to fully clear the guys on that team that weren't involved. Sure isn't looking good for either of them.

Hey guys never visited the Nucks blog…was reading some of your posts and thought I’d share a trade proposal. Just wanted your thoughts. I don’t want to insult you or anything lol

Rangers need a RW and I follow as many teams as I can, and their players. I noticed Kuzmenko had been healthy scratched at times this year. Is he not getting along with Tocchet? In the chateau bow wow? Anyway, Im thinking he could fit nicely with Panarin on the same line…or the first line with Zibanejad and Kreider.

Kakko- I know he’s struggled and from afar he looks a like bust. He was hurt this year so it set him back some. His style is probably something Tocchet would LOVE tho. Forechecker, big strong, especially along the boards. My comparable would be Nichuskin. Someone who started really slow and then left his draft team, and became a good player. Perhaps a change of scenery kind of thing. I see that with Kakko. Whether it’s NY idk, but he hasn’t matched the hype. Our problem with him is we NEED him to score really bad. And it’s the weakest part of his game. BUT like I said, he’s made for a forechecking line with big strong linemates like Mikalyev, and play 3RW. He’s not a fit on the top line for his style.

Ok…now is where it gets bad lol

Goodrow- I know. I know. Before I sell him on you lol, just know he HAS to be in this particular trade (salary dump).

I look the Canuck roster and think it needs some playoff/Cup experience. They are very good and you hate to not have a player who could show them the ropes. Could you find a guy like that out there, sure, but he could be your 4C aswell. Solid PK. Defense. Just can’t score either. Plus the buyout is an option. It’s not killer by any stretch. Matter of fact, you gain 240kish on the cap next year. We need to dump him if we have any chance imo. It’s killing the teams chances being paid so much (hurting the roster construction)

First rd pick - we’re at the point where trading first rd picks for needs is something I think they should do. This would give you some more arsenal to get Guentzel, or Lindholm, or whoever in a trade. This is the key to the trade for you guys, as in extra ammunition

-Goodrow (think buyout after the season)
-1st rd pick
(doesn’t really matter which year, but I’d think it would be 25 or 26. Drury holds the first this year to use as a conditional one with the second we have imo).

Wouldn't a guy like Lindholm be a better fit with the Rangers? Right handed C that can play wing. Plays good D and can score. I'm thinking Calgary might be more interested in a deal along these lines more than the Canucks.
