Well that’s a real game changer to chew on. That’s some serious PO tested & proven all in going for it.

Lol

Seriously though the Panthers are in the thick of being a good PO team. No big trades of a player out. Maybe offseason but even then idk.

Based on the stated reluctance to trade their top prospects recently, I have doubt they are going all in for acquisitions like that. You can't be all in with Maki and Willander off the table. That's hardly all in. I think they will try and do best they can with their picks, next tier of prospects and expendable roster players which include Kuze and Miky.

I don’t even wanna think on the cost of that just yet. If I were drunk that’d sober me up fast. Lol

Yup that is the likely course they choose.

Twice today I have heard mention of Canucks having interest in Tkachuk and they do have a scout at the game tonight.

Oh boy, yes please. He's a true power forward. When was the last time we had a player like that?

They absolutely need those prospects to start contributing over the next 3 years, it's the only way to keep the cap down.

Klimovich is the closest we have for a power forward for a prospect. He’s taking a long time to develop & may never get there.

He's 23 years old and his best years are ahead of him. He's the kind of guy whose contract is going to double in all likelihood.

That's why you need more guys coming in on entry deals all the time. We also have holes on D that will continue to surface. The truth is we need a few more high calibre prospects. Hopefully we can mine a couple in the later rounds.

Edit: I meant Hogs

Yes the ELC pipeline 👍

D prospects are our strength at this time but they take longer as you know. Looking good for mining of late in past drafts. 3rd round & on.

Just finished dealing with a Cabo realtor. Plan is a November trip there & looky loo maybe buy. Anyone got advice on buying in Mexico. Pros & cons etc? Snowbird in the winter rent out when not there.

Something to keep in mind about the D is Hronek Hughes Soucy Juulsen Zadorov are ages 24 to 29. If things are handled properly they should be locked up for the next five years or so. That buys them a lot of time to find and develop a few more.

Yes I’ve considered that in my signings & cap projections. See the layers of timing etc. I include that in my ACGM’s on CF.
