With all the success so far this season & if it should continue some future resignings other than after this season will be a challenge. It goes back to decisions on term for this seasons RFA’s & UFA’s on who will stay or go. The OEL 4.7m hit is real. Hog is due a raise in 2025 & how much is yet to be known but the way he is playing it projects to be sizeable. 14 goals so far on a 4th line with 10mins+/game only. Boeser as well but he’s already at 6.65m/year. Idk what he’ll ask for but less worried about him. It is filling in the roster I’m thinking about & hoping it times out well for ELC prospects to make the team & impact. |

Saw this on the Athletic comments... pretty pretty, pretty sad
An American team has won the CFL's Grey Cup more recently than a Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup.
Had to look it up, and yup: 1995. |

Thinking on the TDL…
The best add could be no add if Kuz keeps trending up. Really like him & wish him the best. Not many players could keep their chin up like he has. Tells me something & not giving up on him. He continues as he has on his 200’ game & better for the team & the cost of assets for any trades if not a big fish gotten.
Henrique type of trade or somebody else y’all like. Any other ideas? |

Baltimore in Vancouver for the Grey Cup if memory serves me right. Was working on a store on Robson & their fans were all over the place. I was impressed at their fandom. |

Just watched the Flames/Blues game. That Marky is something else. Give the Blues a false sense of confidence so his old buds can increase odds of winning. My hat is off. |

He'll be a Canuck for a long time. All good. - LordHumungous
If you asked me two days ago I would have said sure but after something I heard I now have mixed conviction.
ON this part here, I have a feeling PA is not 100 % behind opening the doors of the Brinks truck to sign EP. I mentioned yesterday Money Ball. If he can fill the roster with a 9 mil Guentzel and an 8 mil Lindholm and kill two birds with one stone and get a boatload of talent back for a EP trade, then all bets are off.
This roster could be very different next year.

Retirement is around the corner for me. It cannot come soon enough. No I’m not in a rush to my grave but it does sound like it lol
If I lost 10mins of my life it is 10mins less time to fill. Glass 1/2 full I say lol |

No not all of it agree but as the series went on the 'timely' calls were there.
Is what it is. I wish Pat Quinn was still here to comment lol |

Tough call. EP is on pace for another 100+ point year and man it's gonna be tough to let EP walk/trade as he's so young and to bring in possible questionable talent that won't produce the same. Tough shoes to be in but I agree if EP's demands are way unreasonable Allvin might be forced. |

You can not ignore what WPG has done. They are legit. Their highest paid player makes 7 mil. They moved PLD who was a pain but also wanted a ton.
You can't replace the player, but you can replace their productivity IMO. Something to keep an eye on but every time I see PA I get the sense he is not going to cripple the cap with a stupid amount of money for one player.

Probably about as smart as a goalie is after being kicked in the head by a very large animal. |
