I think weak goaltending was the problem. Canucks had chances all night. It only took a few shots to beat DeSmith though. - boonerbuck
Yeah lead with the goalie not good enough. But then what does the team do about it?
They didn’t generate enough quality chances. Did RT once try the Lotto line? No, why? |

Well onto Saturday CBJ up next. Start a new streak before a 9 day break other than for the 5 Allstars.
1 game at a time. |

I try to mix it up so the streak ends before the next begins. Rinse & repeat. - Nighthawk
You know they humour you in there right? They know you talk poop in here about the team and joke with others how you are gonna go in and stir it up.
They get your passive aggressive/spineless troll job bud. You, that depressed young man on disability marwood, and the sexy, humungous, leather wearing avatar, top bear, racist - all pop in and chirp and get so sensitive when it’s given back. |

Canucks were also the way better team in the 1st except for DeSmith. 2 out of 3 periods... the usual except no Demko tonight. - boonerbuck
Ya that's a fair asesxment they did get some chamces in the first, just didnt seem very focused. The 3rd was tilted, could of had 5-6 goals. Still think were lucky to get a point sleeping through the middle of the game though |

Actually he had the Lotto line out for the end of the 2nd and they did apply some pressure for that brief shift. The Suter show dictated the line decision in the end. |

He had a couple.bad giveaways for sure, rough ot for petey. That was a penalty though. - neem55

I missed the first but I thought the second half of the second Canucks were the better team. Shots were something like 20 to 8.
We lost. No big deal DeSmith was not great tonight but has been all year.

As far as canucks 2nd periods go, they were not even as bad as they typically are in the middle frame... still not great though. Canucks were the better team outside of the crease in this one. Canucks were better in most categories, and it was close in the rest.

Went down soft or not, Petey didnt have the puck.. there was no puck battle just a cross check or interference.... could call either.

I laugh with dipstick23 trying to tell me what Leafers think of me. Idgaf & told them in there I’m no fan but carry on anyways. All that some remember is me ‘I’m here to talk hockey’ it drives them nuts when haven’t said it many months. Some in there are chill &/or tolerant & will banter. They’re no different than us pretty much. |
