Not a big fan of the rental. Rather they continue to look for good value on younger players that can contribute beyond this season. Plus, I still think their focus should be on defense, defense, defense. - bloatedmosquito
Fully agree. Hope they stay away if the asking price is what everyone is saying it is.
However I think a C is their more pressing need. Monahan or Henrique would be good pickups. If he can stay healthy Patches might be a nice depth/vet option on the cheap. |

Don't see anyone talking about Demko letting in a few over-glove softies again last night. I know he's a butterfly goalie but man he goes down to his knees faster than a $2 whore. |

Jake Guentzel (and Crosby) would be a nice addition, a 1st, Podkolzin and Kuzy. If the Canucks can continue to get secondary scoring I think they can beat some of the bigger good teams in their conference. I like how Allvin is shaping this team. Speed, depth, bigger dmen and scoring.

I'm a hater because I'm reminding you of your doubts of the Canucks recently? Nice try flip flopper. It's you that had the Canucks finishing 3rd in the Pacific a month ago behind Vegas and LA. It's you who was reminding us going into the NY area road trip that the Canucks are a tier down from the Rangers, Leafs, Vegas, Oilers etc...
Canucks are handling these teams just fine Mr Doubtfire. |

First one Myers screened him. Third one was deflected. Second one was a beautiful pass (no chance).
They had a stinker of a period.

Fair assessment. After that 3rd leaf goal I was on the phone selling everyone. Just yelling at the TV. |

I am liking Aman in the last couple of games TBH. He is doing fine but the idea is to go to the next level.
JR in the past as everyone knows has made big moves before TDL so with this promising team I see him (PA) going all in to take a shot at the cup.

I've mentioned Demko needs to tighten up but good catch on his glove side woes. I know Myers screened him on one and the other one was tipped but still he's gotta have 2/4 of those. Again, 4 GPG in the PO's and it will be a short trip lol |

He’s taller than Vantel and Minivan on his knees, but you’re right, he tends to be weak on high corners. |

I am sure in the playoffs Canucks game will tighten up also. Regular season game between two high scoring teams is just one of eighty two. The game before was a playoff style game.

Yeah yeah…we all had our doubts, like you not being happy with anything Allvin did before the season started.
It’s happy times now, things are working out beautifully. Get on board and stop hating on everyone. #haterade |

Windows open and close quickly when you don’t have a stellar farm system, it’s time to go for it. I agree though, a center is better than a winger. |

That's an exaggeration not to mention I was critical of the same things you were but that changed in the summer for me.
Reminding you of your doubts and narratives that are only changing now is hate and I need to get on board? Interesting. Welcome to the wagon btw... funny hearing the last one on bark about getting on board... but then again it's you after all.

Their salary cap combines is 11 mil. Trade off Kuz and Mik that is 10 mil. They are in the ballpark. |

I think they should definitely buy, they're just not in a position to sell picks plus players for a rental because, as you've said, they don't have/haven't had a stellar system. Now if it's someone with term that fits into their window here with the core, I'm on board for making a big swing |

I imagine quite a few people were surprised Kuzmenko was in the game last night. Like I said, aside from a scratch here and there, he's going to play until the timing and return is right for a trade. They are not desperate to simply get rid of him. |

That’s the last time I’m going to an indigenous night game what a bunch of rude people, I spent the whole game looking around bodies while the play was going on, they butchered the national anthem it wasn’t oh Canada it was something I’ve never heard before it was embarrassing but somehow it got a loud ovation while I was shaking my head 😆. - Bettmanhatesus
I never really ever understood the need or reason behind anthems. Represent one’s country is the exception like Olympics gold medal winner(s). Hockey is Canada or US anthems not Swede or Finn etc. idgaf about what country a pro team is from. Worst or funniest ever I know of were an MLB allstar game US colour guard on the field with both the US & Canada flags. Ours was upside down. You telling me NOBODY noticed this? US military that effin dumb they only know 1 flag in the world? C’mon lol
Next is I think it was a CFL game in Sacramento when there US teams in the CFL. American buddy singing O Canada sang it to O Tannenbaum. All he got was the O right. Moving on to the now I’ve thought back that must’ve been that ex patriot Lefty.
Do away with the anthems altogether. |
