Just reading Bob’s draft rankings. Tij Iginla ranked 16th but I would bet he goes top 10. He’s on pace for 50 goals with my sad sack Rockets, Flames will win enough that he’ll be gone just before they pick.

I think Lindholm will be dealt after the All Star game since he is representing the Flames.

Van's 1st round pick looks to be bottom 5 so unless our scouts feel strongly about the depth in this years draft..... not super valuable IMO. Also reclamation projects like Kuzmenko and Podkolzin come with significant risk.
I hope Conny prioritizes quality not quantity when he starts dealing?

Thanks! Kind of the issue with trading with the Canucks. They have two great prospects that they’re allegedly not entertaining the idea of trading, and then a bunch of weird assets that could be good or could simply be overhyped.

I’ll post the Goldilocks in here for discussion’s sake. There’s three more potential deals based on the precedent in the piece for anyone interested. There’s also analysis on each move.
