I'm honestly surprised the slap shot garnered that much of a reaction, from Reilly and fans in general. People are leaping to defend Reilly, as if a shot to the back of the head is warranted.

Maybe they could have fought him in the next game, or vowed retribution. That's how things often are in these sorts of things.
League discipline is a joke but I'd think hes suspended for sure.

Love what Grieg did. I was at the game and I get why he did it. Seeing your rink filled with the other teams fans has to piss you off. It was a great (frank) you to the leafs and their fans.

I also get Reilly going after him. Clearly he went too far, but that’s what suspensions are for. We’ll see how the leafs do missing their top defensman for a few games. It’s hilarious all around.

Too bad they don’t play again this year, hate is more fun to watch.
