Ok, got any recent film, don't think he has played since beginning of Dec, should I cherry pick his healthy game here and there.
- Makita

You need to cherry pick from 12000 hours of NHL game time?

NYN maybe next blog write about how things have changed from a year ago. Coach and D change. No calls to trade JTM, Boeser etc. Oh and Kuz is now a dud. Improved QH a deadly scorer too. Depth scoring new development.

RSD no need. Hello Hronek, Juulson and revived Myers. Plus Willander coming up.

The call is to add a top 6 F. The go for it Canucks can be all in move at TDL. I believe they will shock and surprise us all early with what they do. Par for the course, right?

You only had to go back to 1996 to find something positive about the Flyers.

Haven't had a good goalie since Hextall...

Watching the Kings game. They look flat. Talbot is also starting to look like regular Talbot.
- Load Management

All goalies eventually revert back to how stupid they are for well...being goalies.

That Evan Bouchard kid is turning into a heckuva draft pick by the Oilers, he's such a good young player, 42 points in 40 and he's +6 on a team that struggled defensively until the new coaching came in and seemingly explained to them that they can't win if they don't check and be responsible defensively.

There used to be a commenter on here that would make suggestions for the blogger to write about, hasn't been around for awhile now.

Also, NYN mentioned the other day, he was writing post game reports, not pre game etc.

I always wonder if a trade doesn’t make a team better, or has a chance to, why people think it would fly? It’s not actually that hard to think of, we’ve all played nhl

Sometimes people get focused on the cost rather than the benefit, which is understandable, because half the time deadline deals don't work out. But when they do, it's a game changer. Although not a deadline deal the Hronek trade has be a gamechanger for the Canucks, it improved both the teams play and Hughes has clearly benefited from it too.

Good example. People don’t like the acquisition cost, but it was clearly reasonable for what we’re getting.

Oh so one of the dead weight that ran off to other teams? Anyway, Canucks will be going on break soon with games. So maybe nice to look back to how we got here and where the Canucks are going.

When you've never won the Cup you tend to complain about everything because everything usually turns to crap for the Canucks LOL. Yes it cost a first and second round pick but the benefit has been huge, the Canucks are a legit contending team again....finally. Helps that they still had another first round pick and they got out from having to sign Horvat to a contract that would've bit them in the ass.

I think they will try to make a move early. Don’t see a TDL bidding war as the way to go. Though they like to surprise of course. The team doesn’t need a shake up. Unless there is a significant injury that frees cap space to buy high at the TDL.

What does “them’s the breaks” mean?

“Them’s the breaks” is said when something unfair or unpleasant happens and you have to accept it. It’s sort of another way of saying “it is what it is.”There are a few different ways of saying this proverb, including, “dem’s the breaks,” “them’s da breaks,” and “that’s the breaks.” Obviously, as you may have already noticed, this proverb is completely slang, making it inappropriate for the workplace.

On a side note...I've had three calls this week about going up to Kitimat BC to work at the LNG facility there, apparently they are ramping up to commission the facility, or part of the facility. Looks like they are getting ready to roll up there with things. By the way...I said no all three times.

I definitely understand some burnout, but the also we were very good for a decade and I genuinely think winning that much without winning the big one isn’t actually crap at all. But I guess that’s just me! Here’s to hoping these guys that keep making fairly saavy risks whether complainers on here like it or not!!
