Keller Cooley Guenther a young line with a very bright future. Get some stud D & watch out. Soderstrom & Simashev could be that. Crouse is good depth with a healthy Schmaltz but could use more snipers. Ingram looks pretty good.

Great match up down the road. Our depth & D & Demko gives us the edge imo. That said the Oil will remember the 0-2 start & just 1 more test of the many this season has & will have.

Imo Kuz is just too hard wired for the big ice with time & space & KHL casual D play. He has the fancy & offensive flair for the NHL but cannot be coached that in the NHL that doesn’t fly. All the details he doesn’t know & do is making him an expensive bust. The simple & smart play is bread & butter stuff especially in the 3rd in tight games. It’s a shame if it continues. He’s such a nice guy & gifted but the writing is on the wall. Somebody has to take him under their wing if not his agent. Coaches have tried & are at their witts end. Only 27 & still time but a change of scenery in a different system looking inevitable.
