Would not be shocked to see the Oil pulling even with the Canucks in the Standings very soon.

Be interesting to see if the Canucks can keep this pace the whole season. I think they will drop some. Maybe end up 3rd in division.

You should be hoping they don’t play the Oil the first round.

The inconsistency of NHL refereeing, especially on Interference calls, has become very frustrating.

Agree it’s time to build a team for the opening of the new barn. Enough lipstick on this pig.

You have to wonder if Friedman did a deal with Conroy for future considerations lol by saying Flames are trying to resign Hanifin again & he is wanting to stay. Put a little urgency into some of these teams to meet Conroys price before its too late. Not that I would be upset if we sign him, he is after all 26, but it cant be for a penny higher than that reported 8 years by 7.5 per. But probably Conroy has probably reached out with the Hanifin camp to actually see where he would be willing to extend & how much he wants so it can be a sign & trade.

I can actually see the Jets becoming players in the Lindholm sweepstakes as per all the rumours out there. You can bet Colorado doesnt want the Jets to get him & vica versa. We are going to get some serious good pieces from those two trades alone. A late 1st for Tanev will be icing on the cake.

That Chicago game as embarrassing & painful that it was, was just what the doctor ordered to snap Conroy out of any thoughts of re-upping these UFAs.

Dube needs a change of scenery. Wonder if a deal like Dube for Fabbri on Nashville or maybe Dube for Kubalik or Dube for Wahlstrom on the Islanders. A lot of these players are needing a change, surely a deal can be made.

No one is touching Dube until the World Jr scandal report is released.

Do you think Lindholm would wave to go to Winnipeg? That would be awesome, don’t want to play in Calgary, how’s Winnipeg sound?

Until hockey Canada releases those names, Dube is probably a Flame.
Conroy needs to move out some forwards as well. Ruzicka,Greer, Mangiapani…. I don’t think there’s too many untouchables except the young guys.

Dube is not one of the "big three" or the "fateful five".

Calgary probably knows. People in the know, already know.
There is only one of the "big three" currently playing in the NHL.

Should be a tidy easy win tonight over the Sens.

Could be wrong but I dont think Lindholm has a NTC but even if he did, he may not extend in Winnipeg but Im sure he wouldnt block the trade to the top team in the NHL. You know what I mean. I think he has checked out mentally waiting for a trade.

Which isn't coming any time soon because there's no push for it.
The "victim" settled-------TWICE. She refuses to assist any kind of legal action more than she already has. The police, from what is to be understood, have concluded or shelved their investigation barring anything new. Hockey Canada is annoyed because they never got their pound-of-flesh. Other than Formenton's carreer in the toilet nobody ever really got named publically or charged or fined or anything. Now, there is a list of people apparently who can't play internationally - but as we aren't going to see any international tournaments any time soon. The whole thing is now "meh"
