Jack Quinn is now averaging 4 shots a game as well and the danger percentage is rising. I really still think he's going to blow up for us. By next year Tuch will be on the 2nd line.

Quinn can’t hit the board side of a barn! And you want him to hit the net?

Benson is an outlier and Ryan Johnson is 22, seasoned nicely in college. Why swedish included quinn and peterka in his argument is beyond me. They arent prospects

All these guys don't have spots here and pretending ostlund and Wahlberg are coming to save us is insanity, literally by definition. They are 2 or 3 years away at least. Kulich should be trade bait if he isn't a regular on the roster by seasons end

13 (frank)ing years and some people keep pretending 19 year olds are coming to fix all the problems i dont get it

There's not to many that shouldn't be used as Trade Bait

Heard a big one today, probably bogus, but Robert Thomas would be cool...

Just a positive thought to throw in the mess.

They were prospects 16 months ago.

Now they might drive the bus towards the playoffs.

You can be pissed off about the current state of the franchise, but still appreciate the talent that they have in the pipeline at the same time

I like this, very true. We should remember, going into this year, RyJo was thought of as our 5th to 7th best prospect. And with Kulich, Rosen, Ostlund and Savoie on the way, it isn't ALL bad.

About time, but do not put EJ with Power, give him RJ and let them try to grow together. I think Power needs a good Mentor, but EJ isn't it IMO.

Right, they arent prospects anymore. They arent making the playoffs and it will be a surprise if they even make it interesting

Why are we waiting 16 more months starting next year or the year after?

Im glad we have all this talent dont get me wrong. How its going to be used to make this team a contender now with the core locked up is not waiting for them to trickle into the lineup

Oh cool let’s extend another career underachiever for more than he is worth and longer than either party needs.
- Jet Jaguar BD

I like mitts and think he is very effective. He is also reaching the age we will be waiting for younger players to reach

Its interesting, im not married to him but an extension imo needs to be coupled with a trade of some other top 9 roster player

This year I have only spent $50 bucks, paid my rent on time, and haven’t watched the Sabres or invested any time into them.

I even reloaded my NHL be a GM sim in 2025-2026 season and reloaded until they lost in the Stanley Cup finals (I GM my own created team, screw these guys).

Not invested at alll..

I guess the insane part to me is to constantly be blaming the wrong players. The young kids aren't the problem. The issue is the vets. We would 100% be better off without about 5 forwards and 2 D on this roster, they're below replacement level players.

Whether we replace them with Kulichs and Rosens, or with FAs, that's a choice, but IMO will likely garner better results. As we've seen, you can sign FAs and get very poor results. Sometimes it's better to trust youth...as we should have, at minimum, in RyJo's and Benson's case.

- QuinnFan

My point is the core is locked up and the kids aren't vets

Where are they slotting into the lineup and when? Im not mad at the kids im mad at management for this poop show

I do believe a coaching change would make a world's difference, provided they hire the right guy...LOL

Thinking the Sabres have a competent front office to actually go find good players to trade for, and then actually trade for them: imagine that.

Posted earlier but remember how stacked LAs prospect pool was just a few years ago.

They had 2 guys pan out basically.

Prospects become suspects overnight

Its potential, talent would be to consistently play at a successful pace in the NHL for a duration of time. (IMO at least 2 seasons)

Yea look here at mitts, how long it took to figure it out and how long its taken to become consistent with it

Not a single prospect we have no matter how talented is guaranteed to be a Benson. They will all likely need time in the minors and even more time if they make the show to be consistent contributors. This doesn't take into account what role they will be expected to fill and if it even suits them or the organization

Its all potential, but they are certainly talented at their current levels

Its the only thing adams has done well here besides hitting a home run on tages contract, despite his struggles this year. Maybe cozens and power will be home runs too but that is a big TBD yet
