To be fair its the first time I've really watched him. If thats how he plays it makes more sense that he hasn't gotten a look in Buffalo.

He's 19 leading the ahl in goals, with a playstyle that doesn't look to solve problems the sabres roster has

At some point, you have to adapt to the NHL by playing in the NHL. I think that needs to start for him soon. NHL experience this season will help him more than another full AHL season going into next year.

He's very comparable to Peterka last season, except the roster + GM make things much tougher. They could have trapped him in Roch for another season for the exact same reason.

If he's up, be prepared for it.
He'll be lambasted for it before too long unless he is potting 40 or 50.

The worse thing KA can do now is stay put with all the young talent. Some are definitely the real deal and they stay but others may be excellent trade bait. He could build a dynasty if he knew what he was doing
