Comrie isn't out. UPL being d2d is valid grounds to making an 'emergency recall' because you need to have two goalies.

If UPL is designated healthy, Levi, transactionally, must be sent down. If they want him back, he can come back I believe in 24 hours by doing a standard recall tomorrow.

That first goal was alll on him. Hes so damn slow too, pretty much made his line obsolete.

If there is durability issues then why are you advocating for levi to keep starting without rest?

Comrie has been awful, carrying 3 goalies is amateur hour stuff which I guess we shouldn't be surprised about management by now

You know, I never once this season criticized having 3 goalies and I’m still not going to.

Levi is young and his endurance is a huge question mark. He’s clearly talented and has great vision/positioning.But he has already gotten burned out once. He’s what, 21? NHL is a grind. All other leagues are a sprint.

Comrie has been hurt since he signed his contract, I’m serious, he hurt his wrist signing it and that wasn’t even with the off hand he was jerking Adams off with, it was the main hand that he has always used to write with.

And UPL is just inconsistent in general. Health, performance, etc... But he wins games. The team are Colin Robinsons when he is goalie, they just feed off his energy.

I think keeping 3 goalies was necessary given the sh¡t show.

He was showing the rest of the team how not to play, that's all. My sauce said when Okposo brought out the bubble machine before warm-ups, Murray smashed it, then set up a locker room boxing match between Robinson and Krebs....look how that worked out.

The need to say realistic, is based off knowing the GM put 0 effort into exploring the legitimate options. Any name I say will be followed with a response, Adams wouldn't pay for that player. Goalies were available, we now know change sparks the core of this team, looking back at the first 30 games, a vet goalie (Comrie and UPL are not considered vets) was needed.

I figured if Comrie was gtg, but UPL was still sick, they'd have to make the paper move but could recall Levi to cover for UPL, no?

Comrie was the Backup last night I believe, don't think they activated UPL yet. So technically Levi is still on Loan.

Sabres goalie prospect Topias Leinonen wasn’t chosen to represent Finland at World Juniors.

His recent injury spoiled his bid. It’s been a tough road for Leinonen since he was a 2nd-round pick in 2022. Needs to stay healthy and get pro experience.

Comrie means nothing to me, hurt or not it hasn't worked out and his limited experience means he literally doesn't bring anything to the table for us

As it has been pointed out many times management chose this. They chose to rely on a rookie goalie and prayed one of comrie or UPL took a step forward

Well so far UPL took his step and deserves to start. If levi can play 30+ in college he should be able to play 30 to 35 games here this year otherwise he should be in Rochester

Since we clearly don't have a better option comrie can be waived and whatever happens is fine. Normal practice load for both goalies and let them battle for who gets the next start. Live or die with it

I do not see where levi was emergency recall, standard recall and we are at 23 for the roster I think, til tuch comes back to the club officially
