That was probably Elias Pettersson's best game of the season, he was on it last night. Now 4th in NHL scoring and back up to +9 on the year. Lafferty looks to have found a temporary home on EP40's wing, he fits in nicely there and has an nose for the net. Thanks Toronto!!

Thanks for the update, guzzler.

Ravensbergen with another shutout after a tough minute he let in 3 last night.

I'll take the split.

Temporarily off of the .500 hockey needs to continue. Better work in all 3 zones is coming around.

Entertaining game last night, that dreaded 2-0 lead almost cost them but thank goodness Myers was there to secure the win.

Also really happy that Allvin picked up Lafferty, he is really propping up Pettersson with points this season.

😂😂

I’m liking the changes in their play. Finding better consistency. Still a bit worried about special teams.

Petey back to his old self. Hughes was keyed on by the Canes & limited him. All good if everyone is skating & playing the system. Kuz still struggling but a good learning experience. Lots of season left. The PP has been off for awhile.

Canucks had a great start. They were expected to slow down. No one here
expected them to continue that pace.

Seriously it is a long season. Team and players will have highs and lows. I think when the games played even out we will still be a playoff team.

I still say two more additions before TDL.

I’m ok with the ups & downs but not a long stretch from stars wanting a huge contract. It doesn’t get top of the league money. Next tier sure.

We should be a PO team after that start is not a worry of mine. Plenty of new faces & signs this can sustain.

Agree more roster adds are needed with RHD obvious #1. As for other changes I’d look to the farm later on.

I dont see them going all in on any rental. But if they can move garlund for a piece that fits better I’m sure they will. Teams know. Stuff happens and opportunities come up.

RT's comments about him needing a change of scenery is working.... or as LM sees it, Kuzmenko is publicly requesting a trade.

Garland has played well & 1 of the more consistent hard workers. He’s fitting in just fine. Don't see him moving.

Don’t see any all in move coming either. Only move in that category would be getting a true top 4 D.

I would wait until Petey signs the contract before complaining about it. I have seen a long history of us being wrong about how we think a contract will turn out. It could turn out to be a two year 10 mil contract, so wait and see. In two years Canucks are expected to have 72 mil in cap space. Of course some of it will be eaten up but I see in two years Petey can get a much better deal. So worry about it after it happens.

RT has been very specific & consistent on 3 things. Hard on the forecheck, play at a high tempo & rely on the system. All of the other details can be worked on if the foundation is there.

My only complaint is fans citing points & handing out 12m or more.
This mgmt group has done well in contracts & term imo. The best teams sign players that want to be a part of winning & are willing to trust mgmt the rest of the cap will be spent to achieve that. This is what I hang onto that Petey will get paid & at a fair team deal. I gotta believe behind close doors this is part of the negotiations. This past offseason & trades show there is much to be hopeful on.
