Interesting news out of Edmonton. Broberg could be a an intriguing add depending on cost. - Roadrunner75
I know the pluses of Broberg - big guy, excellent skater, especially so for his size, but the detractions from his game are that he's not really offensively skilled, holds the puck too long, gets caught in those critical decision moments, doesn't break the puck out that well when passing it, but if he finds a lane he'll take it. He is also not particularly physical given his size.
So you have this guy who is 6'3 / 205 who is an excellent skater, but he's not a good passer, doesn't have a great shot, and doesn't play the body. I'm not too sure what he IS good at that helps.
I think at one point he was drawing comparisons to Chychrun and if so, I just haven't seen it in him.
Bottom line - when dealing with Holland, you're dealing with an all-day corklicker who wants to "best" you in any deal rather than make a deal. You have a guy, like Broberg, with heavily reduced value, but possible upside . . . at best he should fetch a Dermott return (a 3rd). If you find a guy who really believes in his potential, maybe a 2nd.
Holland wants a player with equivalent value who is roster ready at the same cost.

It's the real deal. My day job is selling space rocks and fossils.
The pay is terrible. The benefits suck. But, the boss is cool and I set my own hours.

That's outside my realm of expertise. But, I do have some volcanic rock samples from the ancient Oracle of Delphi site, if that counts?

Very generally speaking, you can get a cheap little common meteorite for $10 or $20. I cater to blue-collar or budget-minded collectors, so my average space rock sale is usually about $20 to $40, and mostly under $100.
I know dealers who wouldn't answer a call or email for anything less than $10k.
I am not one of those guys. |

You have to eat the entire pizza in the first sitting.
If you don't the mozzarella cheese is so thick that when you try heating it up it just turns to rubber.
And yes, no need to get the large unless you have 10 other people eating it with you. The slices are super thick and filling.

Is it true that meteorites are often heavier than you would expect from your everyday terrestrial rock because heavy elements are more present in them?
Also, why is there anything instead of nothing?

Only 2 days without games from tomorrow until Tuesday
Surely the schedule makers could have done better than this. |

It's been a gong show this year what with the Sweden trip, this current/stupid 5 day wait, an 8 game stretch over 13 nights in mid-January, and a bye week just after that. ๐คก |
