Dude...I've had my eye on that place in Hamilton but never been. As far as I can tell it's the only place in the region that does that kind of pizza. - Zezel
Yeah, I think I went there maybe 5-6 years ago and it was awesome. My friend read an article about it and wanted to check it out.
Not sure if it still holds up but probably worth a re-investigation! |

During Covid, I was driving through Hamilton and decided to give this place a shot.
I dropped in, but they weren't allowing eat in yet despite other restaurants having sit down eating.
I didn't think eating deep dish pizza in the car was really gonna cut it.
Sadly, had to pass. |

The one guy I know who is even more of a food obsessive than me was there recently and loved it. |

Both are pretty garbage for $600. What's the gen of the i7? The second one is better though unless it's under gen 8. |

Generally speaking if you're looking at a gaming PC - especially a previously configured one - then don't worry about the CPU - it will be sufficient to do what you want it to do. You're mostly concerned about the GPU.
The last two digits are the model of the card, and the prefix is the generation of the card (sort of - it went something like 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 20, 30, 40).
NVidia makes those cards in xx50, xx60, xx70, and xx80 (with a new 4090 that costs more than a mortgage payment on its own). The age of your son impacts not only his requirements now, but his requirements as he ages and gets into more demanding games. For instance my 13 year old daughter is getting a new PC for Christmas because her current laptop which has a 1050Ti card is insufficient for her needs, but my 15 year old son already has a PC that's better than mine because of the demand in the games he plays (FPS games like Call of Duty or Fornite or what-have-you).
For gaming I would recommend something that is in the xx70 series, and ideally the 20xx series, but for under $600 as a starter, the 1070 is decent. I have an older gaming laptop with a 980 that is tolerable for lower quality stuff.
This might help you if you're looking at comparisons (you don't need to care too much about what it means - green is better): https://gpu.userbenchmark...vidia-GTX-1070/4038vs3609
Of your two posted options, I would selection Option 1. |

Sent a PM. I've built gaming PC's that are 4x better for $600.00, but again, it's also a niche, hence the garbage on pre-builds with 2016 GPU's and low RAM requiring SSD threading. It's actually probably better to keep him in check because giving them an ultra high end unit will probably spoil them. |

I'd lay odds that the i7 is a 4790K - it's a 4Ghz, compares with the Ryzen 5 3600, and also was around about the same time that NVidia popped out the 16 series cards.
I have not looked at used PCs - but as an example, here's a "new" PC that compares favourably to those specs: https://www.newegg.ca/p/3...00002?Item=9SIB86YK5W5524 |

Last time I played was in 2015...? The problem is actually the reverse. It's a bunch of house wives who have their husbands going for the raids at night. |

Wow. I could get points on that line, and I'm probably not good enough to make the NHL. Maybe the Habs. Too bad, always liked Brown. - Zezel
Didn't Brown lead the league in scoring in his last junior year? But... he's really fallen off the map since. |

So Christian Northland hockey, who is making these wooden Gretzky hockey sticks, also makes a pride stick that says Christian along the shaft and has rainbow stripes on it and says Pride. I already bought the Gretzky sticks but (frank) I covet a gay Christian stick in a big way. |

Didn't he play with McDavid and Marner or something? The NHL is savage.

I played on and off for a month when it launched way back - but had too many other things going on to play. By the I checked back in, I was level 5 and everyone I knew was WAY ahead and couldn't even adventure with me. I had one friend who'd come by watch me fight whatever lowly crap I was fighting - and throw healing up while staying out of the combat. Or he'd go off and get some decent loot I could use and drop it for me to pick up. But even with that . . .I just never cared enough.
What sealed it - and it was sort of funny - there was this dungeon in a desert or something when I was level 9 or 10 and went in and I wasn't paying attention and walked into a well and fell to the bottom where I was slaughtered by a bunch of high level skeletons - and everyone I knew was like, "Sorry, dude. No one is getting that corpse. Start over."
