G1, Tinordi badly out of position. Defending the blue line instead of the front of the net.
Vets f’ing up. |

98 & 72 look like they might be able to stick around in the league. |

Did LR change defensive systems or have the players forgot how to play it? |

A bunch of their rookies look good. I wouldn’t count Reichel out despite his recent struggles. Kaiser and Phillips have tools and KK is getting experience. The problem is there is nothing else on is team that can keep up, so they look perpetually poopty. |

One thing I noticed on the last PK. Raddysh on the forecheck had a chance to check the Wild player in the corner and maybe dislodge the puck from the guy. Instead Raddysh does a fly by allowing the exit from the zone. |

Murphy and Tinordi on the ice for both goals, granted one was on the power play. There’s a reason that Tinordi has only played just over 100 games in the NHL at age 31.
Correction, all three goals. |

Suggest you take a look at the 2020 draft and you will see quite a few 1st round picks who are off to slow NHL career starts. Marco Rossi, Dylan Holloway, Henrix Lapierre, Jamie Drysdale (lots of injuries), Reichel.
And even Quinton Byfield and Alexis Lafrenierre have only started to play well this season. Maybe because they are with much better teams.
And apparently 1st rounders from the 2019 draft like Kaapo Kakko, Alex Turcotte, Philip Broberg suck big time and weren't worthy of their draft position.
I know you and most on here won't agree with me but Lukas Reichel belongs in Rockford playing AHL hockey, the 2nd most competitive pro league in the world where smart teams develop talent internally. Play him until his arms and legs fall off, in every situation that pops up - PK, PP, shoot outs, whatever. Being a healthy scratch at the NHL level doesn't develop nothing. - RickJ
Nope, if it makes him a better hockey player I'm in. I'm not married to any path of success, after 20 games i agree with you he's struggling to do anything |

What u keep referring to is a common responsibility for a forward with a decent sense of awareness of what might happen if a Dman presses deep into the Ozone. But if the puck turns over and the other team's forward(s) blow their zone at top speed and take a pass, do u really think that Hawks forward is going to make any difference defending against that breakout. No, they are just going to walk around him as if he was a statue.
And one more thought - what level of frustration is the Hawks defence corps feeling knowing there are so few forwards who can do anything with the puck offensively??Most of these guys can't even corral a simple pass, let alone make plays in tight quarters. And Bedard must feel he is playing with guys from his father's lpw IQ Over 50 mens league. - RickJ
I do agree it must be frustrating. |

The offensive woes on this team don’t mean a damn thing since they can’t play any defense. There is almost no clue who to cover in the D zone. Like everyone else, I expected them to struggle, but the same mistakes being made over and over by everyone on the team is really frustrating to watch. |

I will give little nappi credit, last year was an obvious tank, this year was a sleight of hand one
Whether year one, two, or more, I thought the idea of rebuilding is to show progress from one year to the next. I guess progress is drafting a generational, talent, but leave him alone on an island.
Little Nappi says he can replace Hall and Perry internally. I thought Buddy Robinson was with another organization this year. |

Per the MN broadcast thru 22 games CHI has won the expected goals 5 times. ..... Tuned in a minute late. Did they dress 7 Dmen? Thought I saw Zaitzev out there as well as Crevier. |
