I can't imagine they are telling them to finesse those clears like that, but who knows? Between the dmen who try to pin the puck in the corner and the ones who slow softball pitch the lobs to the blueline, Sorokin and Varly should put pucks in a bag and go midevil on them...

Would love to know what is being discussed at practice. This just does not make sense. Lane is not someone who just got into hockey.

What is it about NY teams that frustrate the heck out of you for the most part? It's like the people running these teams crack under pressure. That's it, only big-name coaches can be hired in NY.

Didn’t watch but saw it was 4-1 and then my kids and friends texted me the Sharks tied it and then they lost in OT.
This team has no confidence in themselves and their coach or his system. They are floundering looking for answers and this coach doesn’t have them.
He needs to go already!

100% agree. As mentioned before this didn’t happen under Trotz. It was a problem under Capuano….constant 3rd period meltdowns. It was corrected under Trotz and the isles could close out games if they took a lead in the 3rd. It’s now happening again and somehow it’s not on the coach?!?! What an embarrassment. 4-1 in the 3rd…something has to give.
