If blowing a 3-goal lead in 8 minutes to one of the worst teams in the league isn’t rock bottom for this team and Lambert then I’m done for now.

"We usually only play well for 40 minutes. Tonight we played well for 50 minutes. So we're getting better."

Words can't describe this team. Only feces can

It's just so hard to believe how this team folds in the 3rd period.

Second most points since Nov 17. I'm not mocking you, but I can see that being enough for Lou to let Lane ride, despite what we all think.

If they didn't blow leads they'd be close to 1st at this point. The bar keeps getting set lower for worst loss

I've never seen a team repeatedly choke like this. A coaching change is obviously the most immediate move here, but there is a real issue with the psyche of the players themselves too.

As a fan of the Los Angeles Chargers, I feel like they've become one in the same. I'm in hell

Maybe we’ll get lucky and Lou will kick the bucket after that one

Mayfield extension was a killer job, nobody can work that kind of magic like Lou

Didn’t watch but saw it was 4-1 and then my kids and friends texted me the Sharks tied it and then they lost in OT.
This team has no confidence in themselves and their coach or his system. They are floundering looking for answers and this coach doesn’t have them.
He needs to go already!

One player doesn’t make or break your defense. You can blame one bad contract all you want. This team is floundering without direction. Fire this clown already.

Lou has no choice, but to find a new coach. And it's gotta be someone who can teach them to play defense. Not being able to lock down a game at home against the worst team in the NHL when you have a 3-goal lead with less than 10 minutes left in regulation is simply inexcusable.

That wussy clearing attempt by Mayfield led to the tying goal, why the sweet (frank) is he out there in the last 2 minutes?

They play like they have the top 4 dmen out of the lineup or they have 6 rookies on defense. It does not make sense even with Pelech out. A coaching move if the quickest option, but no question the players have issues as well.

I know I'm repeating myself, but I simply have never seen a player worse at clearing the puck. Hard and high....how hard is that? Instead it's a wet (frank)ing noodle every time.

The defense is awful but it's all five players. They hit scramble mode and there's no cohesion. They just go in disarray

Agreed.
This to me is the last straw.
It’s a trend and the coach has said numerous times it’s not. That in itself shows me this guy is in over his head.
Fire Lane’s ass and hire Evason.

This is true. It's a total team defensive failure. I'm just not sure why it's this bad? This is not a young team that should panic. It's not even a team with a lot of changes and the players are not familiar with each other.

100% defense is a team of 5 effort. Always was always will be.
This team just has no unity on the defensive side of the puck especially in their zone.

As a player I was taught to shoot it as hard as you can off the glass high or at their face when trying to clear it and that was neither. Christ flip it out and if it's icing use your t.o

Yep. "Hard and High". We would say it during the play and before faceoffs. It was common-fugggin-sense.
