They have to lead the league in most time against with an empty net without scoring.

I was not able to catch last nights game. However, as bad as the Islanders have been, they are still hanging around. If Lane can pull his head out of his arse, and tweak things. Maybe, just maybe, this team can make some noise.

Otherwise the noise we hear is a gas bubble passing.

Question, do you Tyson Barrie is worth a look? I know he is struggling but he is a veteran d-man that can move the puck. Plus he is a UFA.

Islanders have cap space if Preds retain a mil. Just a thought

He's a RHD, so I don't think that one is a fit unless they think one of Pulock/Dobson/Mayfield (or Barrie himself) is capable of playing the left side.

Don't ask me how in the world this was calculated, but cool to see Dobson on it regardless

They got the maintenance bug. Both may be out for the season.

Could be career-ending

Just odd that they list them as "day-to-day". Usually if they're getting the day of for maintenance they're not listed as anything other than having a maintenance day.

Believe it or not, since November 14th nobody in the NHL has a better PP% than the #Isles (34.6%).

Some kind of bug obviously running through the team. Some get over it quicker than others hence “day to day”.
Nelson took a bit of a knee tweak last game so I hope that’s not his issue.
Can’t afford to lose him.

Ek still with Nylander and the Islanders. How is there even a fit with both teams?

The fit is a square peg in a round hole

Cannot believe I’m typing this, but the Islanders could use a dman more than a forward. Islanders should have better internal options at this point.

This team needed a defenseman, prior to both Aho and Pelech getting hurt. The number 6 and 7 slots are clearly a weak spot for this team. Now you can include 5,6, & 7 slots. Mayfield not a top 4 and at times he is not a bottom 2.

Bottom pair is a weak spot for sure. Wonder if Wally will be packaged for a dman?

Sounds like Nelson and Dobson have gotten over the maintenance that was ailing them and are in tonight
