I’m just emotional today because I ran out of toilet paper 3 days ago. I’ve been to the supermarket each of the last 3 days and got distracted by buying other things. Now I’ve used up all the Kleenex.

You guys ever think Reirdon isn’t the issue? He could be telling these guys all the right things but they just don’t listen. Like I doubt Sid Geno and EK really listen to coaches a lot.

Yeah, it's unlikely the coaches are saying when the guy on the other point pinches to try and keep it in make sure that you don't rotate back since our plan there is to just give up the breakaway and rely on our goalie.

Last night I thought they generated some decent looks but on every one the shooter missed the net. Especially in that OT PP, but also in the 3rd with Sid on several shots. The biggest problem was just again giving up breakaways on their PP.

The break aways are not ideal. I liked as soon as Sid got the puck behind the net. All 4 defenders had to collapse back to him and it changed everything versus Geno ek and guentz playing catch along the boards and blue line and no defenders even move because there’s no lanes or threat.

I thought lafferty was a decent 4tj liner. Good energy guy. Except that him and Ruhw was just too much bald at one time.

This is what I suggested last week, so we'll see if they should hire me as a coach.

Pens better stop taking penalties then. That’s a lot of minutes for tanger.

It's Sullivan.... only gonna last a period or two.

One of the local radio hosts mentioned the Pens were having trouble scoring on the PP in practice. Let that sink in.

This change though doesn't involve demoting a future HOFer, so could last longer.

Is everyone stressed over a shootout loss....or should I say crapshoot loss? or is it just the lame PP? Hopefully not shootout...they're f'n wack and shouldn't be a thing. On the surface I see they once gain rallied from behind to at least get a point.

I didn't see a second of that game. My buddy had his annual Smoker and Poker night...I won the poker pot and ate f'n awesome smoked meats and other poop all night. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the game to stream on my phone and almost everyone there was a Canadiens fan....so Wings and Habs was on. I haven't been by here since.

EDIT: just looked at some underlyings...looked like a low event game, one the Flyers were better for the most part in. That sound about right?

This might be the fact of the matter. Might. However, you can't fire the players and something needs to change, its so broken. Perhaps they really like Reirdon as a human being and if he were to get axed it wakes them up.

Flyers looked better. Pens had numerous chances to do damage on the PPT. Gave up a shorty, and a few breakaways on the PP. PP looks like hot garbage, as usual. Had PP in OT, couldn't close it out.

Yeah that's f'n ridiculous. Something has to give with that PP. If they were at least 20% the Pens are probably 2nd in Metro. A lot of lose by one goal games the PP went 0-for something in...and not only that, giving up shorties sometimes too hahah nuts

It’s not just the lack of production. 7 pp goals on the year, 4 shorties against. Endless shots and golden opportunities against. Last night a shortie, then a pp negated by an ek penalty to prevent another break away which in turn led to a truncated pp goal for Philly. Our pp causes 2 goals against last night.

Maybe lol. We have given up a shorty in 4 games this year. Have only scored pp goals in 4 games this year. And now ranked 29th in the league.

As for not scoring in practice though, well they are going up against a good pk.

I’m guessing there wasn’t much shenanigans during the game? If something could happen to really reignite the rivalry that would be better than a pp goal.

Smith tried to hit risto and just kind of bounced off him. Was pretty funny.
