True. Guess the only guy cooler than you is Cocaine Jeff. - Victoro311
Nah I just do a lot of cool stuff. Honestly a lot of stuff I couldn’t do as a pro athlete. |

Yeah honestly the life of a pro athlete does not sound fun. The life of a retired pro athlete though? That’s probably sick if you don’t have CTE |

Go look up some more Carter stats and report back. - Grinder47
Jeff Carter's point total is equal to the number of people on this board who can't see he's over the hill. |

I think Grinder just enjoys winding you guys up about Carter. No idea what's up with the Chef Carter person though. |

Absolutely. It's just something to do when I get bored. Weirdly enjoy seeing what kind of arguments he comes up with. |

He won the game for the team the other night. Pretty much set himself up for it too. That’s my argument. Guys like Vinny score on San Jose. Carter scores real goals. |

It was certainly his shining moment of the year. Good thing we didn't need any real goals earlier in the year so we could save Carter's magic until now. |

The CHEF gets some TOI and contributes to a TEAN WIN and the MR Obvious CAP FRIENDLY posters come out of the woodwork like cock-a-roaches when the lights are turned out to double-down on how bad he is.
Just so it doesn’t get lost in the repeating of non-facts – when you are losing games and the coaching staff tries juggling lines as possible solutions all I’ve posted is *how about trying* Carter… give him some better, quality TOI.
So, he got some more TOI and performed and a few of you ‘chicks’ posting here (still venting over them protecting him and signing him to that contract) run to web sites to add your bad stat vibes. It's textbook of how puckbunnies get a bad name.

Oh we did. He was just scratched. I think it’s probably a wash between he and Vinny so I’d just rather play the cooler guy. |

Right on cue.
Puck bunnies get a bad name because they chase hockey players for a bone, all female fans of hockey are not considered puck bunnies. But if you are then, whatever lol no shame in the game homie. If you can bag a player in the show, much respect. |

I can agree it's about a wash on the fourth line. I would prefer Vinny as a top nine fill in just because of the speed |

You must of missed the plot twist last week... Its actually a female. I bounced the idea off her that she had a big crush on Big Jeff and she didn't respond... |

The worst things on this forum are that Philly guy who insists on referring to Sid either as a woman, trans, gay, etc, and anything related to Jeff Carter. It's 2023, time to move on from all of these topics.
I saw that in practice yesterday the D pairs were Pets-EK, Ludvig-Letang, Graves-Shea, i.e. Graves moved down, Ludvig up. Graves is struggling with the Pens system (I think he only ever played in the NJ system in the NHL), so presumably they're just trying to give him a few lower-intensity games to get more comfortable in our system. |

He played with Makar in Colorado. His defensive stats in Jersey were propped up by Marino though. |

Graves played in Colorado before NJ. Should have learned how to play in a wide open system there. He's been one of my biggest disappointments so far, thought he'd bring stability to the top four.
Ludwig though, what a nice find. |

Graves back with Letang in morning skate
Nieto and Accarri being evaluated for lower body injuries and won't play
Hinostroza to 3rd RW. Koppanen recalled and will play 4C. Harkins bumped down to fourth line
A bit surprised by this recall because Gruden is hot and was playing higher in the line up. Rem Potluck might deserve a look at some point too, but the need was a center. |

Ah, I see he played for the Avs while I was living in Australia. It was hard enough for me to follow the Penguins from that time zone, wasn't really paying any attention to the rest of the league then.
Anyway, agree he's been a disappointment, though it does seem that D often struggle when switching teams for much longer than one would expect. Hopefully he sorts himself out.
Ludvig and Shea have been great pickups. Demonstrates that there's no need to sign 3rd-pair guys to more than $1M with any term (e.g. as Hex did with Rutta). There are guys like this out there that you can sign to close to league min. |

Man Yager up to 16 goals and 36 points in 20 games. That knock about not scoring enough is a distant memory. |

What’s quite impressive about Ludvig is he’s played this well on his off side which I never seen him do in Portland or in the A. Not easy to do as a rookie and at 22 also with no training camp with this team. I think he could be really good with Letang. |

IDK, but they could sure use a right shot bomb on the PP. And I doubt he'd learn anything else in juniors. |

Rock on sister. Need to give Carter more ice time because if you let old dudes sit for too long it increases the risk of them sitting on their own balls and having to be out for a couple of weeks. Similar to the guy who played Mr. Belvedere. |
