should have never gone to overtime, wtf.. another pulled goalie goal. That said, holy cow that OT was exciting, and F.N. Marchand, did everything to make that win happen. nice to see him get a goal, he was due.

I think the stat is 7th time???

That was not a great end to regulation. Could have very easily gone the other way in overtime. They really have to do a better job at the end of the game.

I used to like Jack, but his act got old a couple years ago. Pregame he's talking with his eyes closed, my wife was wondering if he had a stroke. He's behind on the play by play, ;has to skip bits to keep up. Jut put him to pasture already.

I generally dont mind my play by play being done by a homer. Prior to whatever has happened to him he just comes off as a pompus ass most of the time and I have never truly enjoyed his broadcast. I like the way he announces goals, thats about it.

All that aside, something is off and for his sake I hope Jack calls it quits. You can tell he cant stay with it anymore and some of the things he says are just truly odd now. I have been listening to reverse broadcasts when possible for the last 5 years, if I cant, I have the volume turned down so low I cant hear Jack talk.

Couple quick hits since we're about 25 games into the season.
1. Heinen is a steal. He doesn't put up big numbers but he can play with anyone and has been solid up and down the line up.
2. Coyle almost seems like he has an extra gear this season. Looking a lot faster this year.
3. Zacha has also reached a new level in my opinion. I think they should stick with Pasta, Zacha, Debrusk. It keeps Debrusk engaged when he plays with better players.
4. Bertuzzi does not look like he fits in with the way Toronto plays. Just looks off.

I think Jack is pushing through something, and he doesn't want it public which is his right. However this is year 2 where there is clear change. I've been wondering how much of grace period has he been given.

It's been tough to listen to, he is clearly struggling. I didn't care for his brand of play by play in the past. Now I just feel for the guy.

He was actually a bit better last night, not good, but better. I too think there is something going on that is being kept private.

He has been on fire the last couple games. Hopefully that provides a spark for the rest of the group.

Pasta has also been lights out and I have been pleased with Coyle's play this year. Need more from the rest of the group.

As you could predict. I love Jack. He’s such a homer and I love it. Definitely way over the top sometimes but still.

That being said, the other night they had Hilary knight in the booth and he asked the most long winded off topic question about a Trevor zegras’ assist last season and it was so awkward. Took him forever to get the question out and made zero sense. Something’s off or he’s just worried about saying the wrong thing since the whole Pat Maroon thing.

I think its time for him to consider stepping down. Like him or not, something isn't right and it is just weird. (well more weird than he normally is)

Yeah, that was definitely the most awkward booth session I've ever seen. Even Hilary gave him some side eye during that rambling...

ooof. I missed that. Was probably taking the dog out or something. To me it really sounds like he may had a stroke. I'm an expert on drunken slurs and this sounds and feels different. At times he is really laboring to get the words out.

Love him or not he's our guy. I hope he's OK.

And if it were alcohol related pretty sure NESN would just can him (probably quietly)...if it's medical there is going to be much more leeway. I'm with you, hope he's OK.

I'm not buying their service for the occasional game. I have no interest in any of their gigachad bullpoop.

And Stephen A Smith needs to shot into the sun.
