I was at that game against the Canadiens at the Meadowlands. The Devils were up by 2 goals with a few minutes left and my Dad who hated traffic said, "come on, we're going." I said, "Dad, the game's not over." He said, "I gotta get up at 5 AM so we need to beat the traffic."
We exit the building and we hear a huge roar from the crowd. Get in the car and we hear Marty scored a goal on the radio.
To this day, I have NEVER left a sporting event early. - Crushers68 your dad is a doosh haha
Much lesser of a scale but me, Jimmy and my son went to a yankee game and left early, they were down 2-1 I want to say and we missed a dinger and the walk off by Clint Frazier I believe. I hate the Yankees so I was happy about it

Two games I was at that a lot of people left early and regretted. My Dad thank god let me and my brother stay to the end.
1- Mets 86 Buckner game
2- Milbury goes in the stands to beat a fan with a shoe
Yup- I was at both of these |

Ahhh man the Bruins game! I wish I could have been there for that one.
What was it like seeing it in person? Must have been surreal! |

I was at the Grand Slam Single and people left that one early, including a work colleague who lived in Manhattan and left. |

wait, that was on an icing, how is that a clean hit?
the only argument that could be made is that maybe a Devil pushed Hathaway into Hughes
but definitely not in any way a clean hit on an icing call - jimbro83
Play until the whistle. Devil pushed Hathaway so you can't even argue for a Boarding call there. Unfortunate hit, but legal play...

It was a Sunday night game- NFL playoffs were going on and we walked in late because my dad and older brother wanted to watch some of the NFL game at Harry O's.
it happened as the very end and we were sitting in the blue seats directly across from it- it was insane. A bunch if players followed him into the stands. We just stood there catching flies in our mouths.

I remember the game well. Ventura had a habit for hitting HRs with the bases loaded. Its a good thing we only needed one run
