the reality is the Rangers dont need to go out and acquire a RW because of Kakko injury

it was probably eventually going to come down to an unproductive Kakko was in the way of Othmann, Sykora, Berard getting shots anyway

its amazing how badly those were hated in the 1970's but when you see them now they are pretty gorgeous

I think the whole problem back then was that there was no concept of the "third jersey"

it was a permanent change

if there was a 3rd jersey then and the Rangers wore it once in awhile it wouldn't have been hated as much

it also coincided at the exact same time with them missing the playoffs two years in a row
