feels so good to be on the other side of 1-0 shootout. - missingmike
It does. I’m happy because ersson deserved that win. That’s his first career SO as well. |

Frost looked great tonight, aside from that penalty shot he took. Lol
But if anybody deserves the GW goal it was foerster. He was all over the place, too.
And I can't tell tou hoe mamy times I saw Bee was in the crease trying for a goal.
All in all it was a fun game and a good effort from the flyers.
Also, sorokin is going to be a Bia to play against for a long, long time. Damn that guy is good |

Did he. I thought that was his first. Well. It’s his first SO win according to the isles announcers. 👍 |

He is. The isles don’t seem as good as they had been. They can’t score either. A lot of them have lost a step it seems and horvat and barzal don’t seem as dangerous. |

I agree with all of this! Loved seeing Frosty out there although I wish Brink was in as well. I really enjoyed the game. So glad for Foerster! |

Yes, crazy! Don't worry, MJL will be all over RR's mistakes in the next game. He is after all, a 3rd pair D man...at best

I'd have loved to see Brink in as well. I don't understand how torts can interrupt the chemistry that Bee and Brink have had but Torts won't ever sit Laughton
Also, cages had a solid game tonight. I thought that that should be mentioned. He was probably our best player earlier in the game and he was everywhere tonight as well, in a good way. If only he had any semblance of any offensive ability at all. What a shame |

You're right, they really don't seem as good anymore and you're also right that they have lost a step.
They're probably not far from a rebuild either but they don't know that yet. They'll be the next team stuck in mediocrity for a while, imo.
Take sorokin out of the picture and they would have a pretty bad record |

Omg yes. Looking at the scores tonight, I don’t feel so bad about our lot in life. Imagine if you’re buffalo. Endless rebuild. They lost 7 2 to nj and had 12 shots. Holy god. |

Yea Torts is perplexing with his decisions but he just wont sit the vets like ND. Agree on Cates as well and I get why Torts favors him. It's great that everyone is healthy, so Torts should find a way to rotate players in and out. He won't do it, but that's what I'd like to see.

He's scored twice before with that same penalty shot strategy. Worked against the Oilers last year and the preseason this year against Boston. When it doesn't work, though, it looks bad. |

He is playing silly games with the players. How does your top goal scorer not get a shot in the top 4 in the shootout. This team needs to come together to win with no real superstars and the coach would rather inflate his ego then get on board trying to field the best team available on a nightly basis. - Daceroni
What are TL shootout stats?
Mayne he sucks at it. A lot of players hate the shoot out.
