Frost on and Brink sits. Doesn’t make sense when you have so many vets playing poorly - HockeyDog
They also have Cates and Foerster struggling to score.
It's genuinely insane that Frost and Brink have the best 5v5 GF% of the Flyer forwards, and those are two guys taking turns eating popcorn.

Completely agree. The only logical reason that this is happening is that we’re focusing too much on the short term of winning to make the dance. The irony is, I think that they’re a more effective team with brink and frost both in the lineup. These guys will continue to improve and completely surpass the performance of some of the vets that stay in the lineup.

A 4th line of Laughton/Cates-Poehling-Hathaway could be really good if they would just try it. |

I’m not a fan of Brink sitting. I would have thought with Cates having 30
stitches in his face(always worse the next day) it would be a good time to give him a break. |

We can’t have two young developing players in the lineup at the same time. This is how you expedite the rebuild. |

Frost going to be benched now because of that giveaway?
At least that is how Torts will describe that SOG.

Very weak deflections on that question.... really toothless response. Total cop out.
Then for him to bring up Brink and Foerster... like two wingers have anything to do with Frost being in the lineup or not. RYAN (frank)ING POEHLING is on the 2nd-line and he's saying there's no room in the lineup for Frost. Hilarious. - Tomahawk
Totally agree. Complete bullpoop answers.

Torts did talk about not being able to string together 3-4 passes yesterday….the first period looked like more of the same. |

They’re playing well this game but need to find a way to score. Jebus this goalie has our number for some reason. |
