They are going to need more than what they have in the pipeline to become a good team. They need to go for elite, and game changing players at the draft.

meh, sometimes you play well and lose, sometimes you play poorly and win. I don't expect them to get much better to be honest. young team, up and down, rookie coach... they've played 20 games, that's enough to have a good idea.
and I'm perfectly calm.

I think you're not getting my point, they're clearly inconsistent but they can play much better than they have tonight, and they will. just 2 weeks ago when they won against DET and BOS they looked like a very different team.

You are right, we will see many ups and downs, part of the growing pains. My only point at this stage is if they can move Allen, please do so and start to play the two kids and see what you have. At least you see some fight in them, Allen looks disconnected.

that being said I do agree they should keep Monty and Primeau.

At the beginning, no one thought that if the Habs made a move they would be moving Allen. But lately, ??????? He played very well in the beginning but since the Habs have not moved a G 20 games in, I think he sees the writing on the wall and shares the net with two other goalies. Not where he was expecting to find himself at this stage. Hence=disconnected.

ok, I don't remember him giving bad performances... plus they've been going with the 3 goalie rotation so it isn't like we saw him all that much lol.
