maybe he would do better away from Chicago, a team with not a lot of talent as of now and in a full rebuild. Like if he could be a number 3 or 4 on a deeper team. But Chicago would have to eat some of that salary cause it wont happen at 9.5M for I dont know how long.

This is all about right wing backlash and the NHL trying to stay out of the crosshairs by adopting a policy that hurts all causes, pissing off everyone, which is worse than what would have happened if they left it as it was before the ban.

NHL PR and Policy are the equivalent of Chris Nilan on Jeopardy - zero chance they get the question right.

The NHL is so (frank)ing vanilla at times, really need to change the culture at head office.
