no it's because the main focus this year is on development and progress. that's why we see guys like Pearson a lot.

thing is. no one is going to give the leafs that much considering he is a pending UFA after this season. unless he agrees to an extension with the team acquiring him. then the problem is, while i like him as a player, i hope the GM of my team isn't paying 10 to 12 M for a winger.
