When they went down 3-0 he said he liked the way they were playing. Bringing the grit and snarl. |

They’re the least popular team in Philly. Lots of empty seats. Booed off the ice at the end of the periods. You’re right, the fan base is totally brainwashed. |

You know what might help the Flyers abysmal powerplay? A crafty center with a knack for distributing the puck. Some of these shot selections are just woof. |

I don’t see many people eating up Tort’s act. Fans want to watch their team win. Being happy that the Flyers are watchable is not the same as being satisfied with the team. |

In here maybe, but on Facebook and the Twitters I would say the fan base majority is solidly in the Torts is God camp. |

I honestly don't believe that to be the case of late... Not as many no-shows, and when was the last time they were booed off the ice at the end of a period?... The Flyers are still extremely popular in certain pockets in the area, such as South Jersey, South Philly, and NE Philly; being the least popular team in Philly is debatable, and certainly so depending on where.
This board often blows with the wind in a bandwagon manner... and as usual, loves to be negative, enjoying to complain. Sure the Rangers are taking them to school today, but the Rags are in another class presently, and have a couple players who feast off Flyers each and EVERY game... but it is what it is, both with the match-up, and the Philly fans... If we want a rebuild, and progress, please display a bit of patience; I'm not telling anyone what to do, you understand... merely commenting on my observations, and the flow of this forum. |

I understand what you are trying to say here, but the Flyers are most certainly the 4th team of the 4 main sports and its really not close. |

they are absolutely the least popular imo and it isn't even debatable. thy have entered irrelevant status. On of the worst run teams in all of sports.

The Philadelphia Flyers market is somewhat relatable to some of the smaller market Canada-based teams, i.e., Winnipeg and Calgary, in that it doesn't matter how poor they are or how bad they're managed/run, there's still enough of a market for them to sell enough tickets and push promotions so it doesn't matter entirely whether or not they make the playoffs or build properly and become contenders. Sure when they're winning the stands are full but they'll never be the Eagles or come close to the fandom/draw that the Eagles have in Philadelphia.
On the flip side, teams in new markets like Vegas, or even back when the Carolina Hurricanes came of age, the franchise actually lives and dies with how well they play. The Flyers have been mostly mediocre for a stretch and there's never really a concern of the franchise going bankrupt or moving away. |

You, just explained it all. The Facebook and X crowd being pro Tort’s go by sound bites and snapshots and probably most don’t even watch the games. |

LOL @ Tippett with less than 12 minutes of ice time. He's one of their best scorers. Thanks goodness offensive stalwarts such as Brink (17:38), Poehling (13:41), and Forester, who received over 20 minutes of ice time, were there to help put the puck in the net.
Couturier had a rough game today. A lot of horrible passing and fumbling of the puck, not to mention bad reads and offsides on a number of occasions.
I'm also not entirely sure why Scott Laughton is getting close to 18 minutes. He hasn't played well for most of the season. |

If every Philly team was a .500 team the pecking order would be Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers. It has been this way for decades and will NEVER change. How many times do we have to go over this? How bout dem Cowboys and Niners! Lookin pretty sharp or were we just drinking too much at Thanksgiving dinner? |
