EP turned 25 a week ago. Way more upside... not that I want to pay anyone $12m... but if you are comparing these two... Miller is a really late bloomer... and on the downside of his career turning 31 soon.

When Petey gets back on his game and Suter returns, I expect the canucks will look more like what they did before that Ottawa game. It's been a bit of a struggle even in the wins since that night. They are weak down the middle right now.

Obviously you would use that internal cap in negotiations to help bring the number down. But it's not even close to a 1 to 1 comparison with either guy. Hughes got paid before he was who he is today, Miller is over 30.
