Hes one of the most unique "elite" goal scorers Ive ever seen. Terrible on breakaways, doesnt have a particularly good wrist shot or slap shot, nothing special handling the puck in the o-zone. Everyone once in a while he will blast down the ice and rifle a shot in but its so inconsistent. I almost feel like his speed hurts his shot.

Debrusk seems to be having a pretty bad year and he’s a UFA, wonder if Boston would do a deal with us. Tough to predict that one since they’re a playoff shoe in most likely. CF has him as both wings

I happened to think majority of the team played well. You can single out Zib, jones, miller, and Igor as the biggest isssues.

Igor being outplayed by Wedgewood was just a huge mess. On another note trouba looks fantastic this year.

I bet he’s moved for a mid round pick if he’s moved at all. The injury history and lack of production before this season are enough to drive his value down I think

How difficult was that to type for you?

Trouba is as important as Panarin imo. He may not get pts and has the occasional bad play, but what he brings to the ice is what I mean. Logging heavy minutes night after night, teams KNOW when he’s out there and will be less likely to drive to the net because he’ll hit them into next week if they aren’t careful. Intimidation is a deterrent to the opposition. He makes a lot of money but the cost of what he brings is high in general, and he’s a captain

I’m a guy that really didn’t like him pre NYR, but I’ve grown to understand the value of Trouba the last few years
