when dahlin doesn't personally fuel the powerplay, it is nothingness.

Our assistant coaches have failed at literally everything in their job descriptions. And our head coach is playing with half a god damn roster.

so which 10 players would you deep 6?

Its been time to tim murray the team for 1.5 years now. Guy needs to grow a pair already.

I think there were good fits, right players available but he was so afraid to let anything go, he used his usual BS excuses to justify the decisions he made.
Well, it’s time to pay for those decisions

The teams that rebuilt correctly, put a good supporting cast around their core. The devils sure were not going to piss away Hughes for one example
- lulags

💯 on the above.

The Devils didn't wait either.

This summer wouldve been a wet dream for a real gm. He poop on the floor instead.

Guys who would have traditionally been scooped up on day one had to wait a month and take short term, undervalued deals. I agree. He shat the bed on this one

You mean to tell me that former NHL legend Matt F-ing Ellis doesn’t know anything about power plays or penalty kills?

Thems fighting words!

>>> Just heard @danorlovsky7 on ESPN say the Bills ran motion 18 times yesterday, the most motion they've used all season.

Averaged 7.5 yds/play on those snaps.

If he has any balls, target the Oilers, Flames,
Other teams who’ve grossly under pro-formed
So far and make a deal!
Don’t wait to be the one who gets poop on.

Jost
Girgs
Olo

Joker
Samuelsson
Clifton

UPL
Comrie

Were going to find a TLC episode of Adams on hoarders soon.

They had a wildly successful PP then it just died and has stayed dead for more like 50 games now.

bit leary on the age of the players the flames could offer us. I think Tanev would make sense if you can get him on a 3 year ext before he goes to UFA.

I like Coleman too if you can get him on retention. I know some aren't into the idea but let's say you have him at 3M, I think he gives you a lot for at least the next two seasons, if not the whole three.

The only logical explanation for the offense to regress to this level is that Terry was Gerbe this entire time. He read my plan to buy the team rolling the over every game and would rather lose the games than the team.

It was successful because Dahlin was a superhero and teams weren't entirely sure Tage was real yet.

When teams figured those two things out, the power play went into the poopter because it's a ridiculously basic structure with mostly stationary player movement.

He has a full No Movement Clause, but his cap hit is very reasonable at just over $5M per.

I mentioned this earlier. Joe Brady ran a very similar offense to Dorsey week 1 vs the jets.

Josh was dumping it down and it worked

Once Josh tried to go Hollywood and force downfield passes that turned into INTs …. That’s When we lost week 1

- Sabretooth9

I don't think the gameplan or even the play designs were Dorsey's problem. It was more the in-game decisions (when to call this play or that one) that was dysfunctional. Dorsey seemed to gravitate to 3 or 4 plays that he was comfortable with when things weren't going well. We won't really know whether Joe Brady is any better at that until the Dallas game at the earliest. The one concern is that both Diggs and Davis were non-factors. A lot of that could simply be that the Jets are really good at taking away your best player but he needs to get them back to form too, and not because they're afraid Diggs will throw a fit either.
