Canucks not getting pucks through so many blocked as well. Another hole in the 3rd. PP time, do they have the juice to climb back?

Their line with Karlson has a combined 17 points in the last 5 games

They are putting up good numbers.

Having a strong farm team bodes well for the next few years for the big club. Window will be open within the next couple of seasons

Canucks lack of centre and D depth definitely getting exposed and the injuries are not even that significant...

Petey has been sloppy & ineffective & checked down for awhile. Breakouts have weakened of late.

More having to find a way through desperate teams playing them hard. A lot of blocked shots and set ups. Though the cough ups by the D did them in this game.

Blueger is not at all filling in for Suter. He's been terrible since being forced to step up.... like him with reduced minutes though.

Juulsen is garbage.

This is what I mean by depth getting exposed.

Glad Hoglander cashed in on a goal. I thought he had a decent game.

It's never a good sign when you have to play 2 defensemen almost 30 minutes

Yeah and imagine if his shot in dying seconds went in to tie it. Would have been a Hog tale of two cities. Now it’s a Canucks are slumping story. Won’t be surprised to see the course correction crowd out either.

Every Canuck fan would take this start to the season. But, it’s hard to see things happening like the last…decade or so. This team does feel different but tonight Miller was frustrated, EP too, looked a lot more like last year.

Was hoping tochet would bench Miller for a shift for the dumb slash penalty when he was all heated.

If Miller followed up with more dumb poop I'm sure he would have. That's the way it unfolded last time but this time it was over and done with after he went to the box.

I like the chemistry him and Beauvillier have together. They need a better centre, maybe Suter is a better fit for those 2.
Joshua has been pretty meh all season and Lafferty is better suited to be a winger.

A minor 2 game skid, at least they fought hard until the bitter end

D especially. Juulsen is terrible (though I liked him standing up for Petey) and Myers should be limited to <14 minutes a game.

I was hoping Tocchet was going to bench Pouty for his childish stick tapping on the ice.

Completely justified after the slew foot and multiple missed penalty calls.

Ya, they should just play Hronek 45 minutes a game, Myers 14 and Juulsen/Friedman the leftovers.

I don't mind him showing a little fire, someone in here just the other day was complaining about him floating around with a neutral expression all the time. I'd rather the players on the team make it known they care.

Tocc not super happy:

[Oleksiak's goal] evened the game at 1, giving Seattle a breath of opportunity in the game.

It was bad changes like that one that had Canucks head coach Rick Tocchett steaming mad post-game.

“Our changes were awful. Long shifts. That’s .500 hockey. You can’t win with that,” he said.

“We had some awful changes. Awful changes. Changes lose your hockey games. They lose you playoff series. You have to change properly. And we didn’t.”

“You can’t change,” he said when asked about the changes by Pettersson and Mikheyev ahead of the Oleksiak goal.

Pouty? I’m in Sayulita and can’t find the game. His line stinks 5v5

Abbotsford healthy again, 5 wins in a row.

Watching the game last night, I liked what I saw from Aaty Räty. He is looking much more comfortable and is starting to develop more of a tenacity along the walls that this organization wants. A goal and an assist so far in today's game.
