Nice of Schmid to give the boys a chance tonight! 5 goals against on 2.3 xGs! Fantastic stuff. Glad we didn't address the biggest need of the team, and kept him up here instead of in Utica where management (frank)ing wants him. |

Agreed, but we should've tried to get Graves signed instead of letting him walk. The Graves/Marino tandem were very solid last season and took the pressure off the 1st D pair. To me, that's the biggest difference in our defense this year compared to last

Wow, that was ugly last night. Looking like our only chances in winning is if we score 5-6 goals per night.
Saw a stat during the game that we have scored 4+ goals 8 times this season, BUT we've also given up 4+ goals 8 times this season (9 after last night). So essentially we're back to playing 1980's era hockey.
What sucks worse is that right now the Rags are clearly the better team. Need to right this ship quickly!
